The pizza was fine. The environment, however, guarantees that I won’t go back. I don’t go out to eat to be bombarded by overly loud political news and someone watching something on a phone at full volume.

Tried Marzellas for the first time today, pizza was the best I’ve had in the Collegeville/Royersford Area!

Love the pizza for sure. If you dine in there is no table service other then they will bring the food out to you once you have ordered at the counter. When they bring the food to the table they did not bring any condiments with them. Upon asking for ketchup and seasonings they the man poited to a cooler across the store and said you can get it yourself. Just a suggestion, bring a bottle ketchup out with you when you drop off the cheesesteak. Same we had to ask for seasonings for the pizza. Really not a big deal if you know ahead of time when you are paying with a credit card it automatically goes to a tipping suggestion at the minimum of 15% with 3% surcharge applied to the entire order. I feel it would be more fair to suggest 10% and if the order is for in the store tell us at that time where they can find the seasonings and ketchup and such instead of us having to sit down, then have to get up, wait for you to get off the phone then ask or be told by the workers when they bring the food to the table you can get your own ketchup across the store. Best wishes! Love the pizza 🍕

Jack has been exceptionally supportive of student initiatives on campus, including sponsorship of my fraternity's semesterly Bike-A-Thon fundraiser for Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. We're so lucky to have a reliable and affordable pizza shop so close to campus. An Ursinus Staple!

This pizzeria is hands down the best in town. Whether you're in the mood for pizza, hoagies, strombolis, cheesesteaks, or Italian entrees, you can count on a delicious meal every time. The food is always fresh, flavorful, and made with care. It is so clear the pride they take in their business, and how much they truly value their customers. They’re always updating the menu with new options (hello Italian entrees!), which keeps things exciting, but the classics are always on point too. If you’re looking for great food and a place that truly values its customers, this is it. Highly recommend!

This used to be a great little pizza place where we would often order take out. My husband and I went there about a week ago and were really annoyed to find a gigantic tv on the wall tuned in to Fox News. It was playing extremely loudly, to the point where it was a distraction and we asked them to lower it, which they did. A woman kept coming out from behind the counter to watch. I guess she didn’t have anything better to do as the place was deserted. I think that after this extremely contentious election, people need to think about which local businesses they support, especially those who choose to espouse their political views while patrons are trying to have a nice meal.

Everyone has different preferences for pizza so the style of the place will affect your rating. My overall opinion was the pizza was alright. I've had better but it wasn't horrible either. My review is just a description of what we ordered so you can see if the style fits your pallet.

We got two pizzas, the red veggie and bbq chicken

The Red Veggie was smothered in vegetables (tomato, broccoli, onion, mushroom) like a huge handful was dumped in the middle, and then smothered again in cheese. The sheer volume of veggies actually made the toppings section very moist. Even though there was a large mound of veggies, you really couldn't see any because there was a huge amount of cheese on top. The crust was very thin. The sauce was good but volume wise, was lighter than the average pizza we've gotten.

The BBQ chicken wasn't as good as the Red Veggie. There was very little bbq sauce so the pizza itself was fairly dry when eating it. The chicken pieces were good size, not shredded. The crust again was thin. The edges were a bit burnt. The biggest issue I had with this was the dryness that likely resulted from the low sauce volume.

So as stated originally, you might like this pizza, you might not. It depends on your pallet. Hopefully the aforementioned description helped with your decision

My husband had eaten there while being a student years ago, and we were in the area, so we had to have it. He said it was as good as he remembered and that the menu had expanded considerably. Being my first time, I have to say it was delicious. The crust was thin and perfectly crispy, the sauce tangy, flavorful, not watery but not thick. We waited for it and it really didn't take too long. The place itself was clean and well kept.
We will certainly eat there again while at the area.

Don’t eat here. I’m calling the Health Department.I’ve ordered from Marzellas for decades—decades. The last 10 years it has gone downhill. But tonight I actually had disgusting food with multiple long hair strands in it. I ordered a large pepperoni pizza for delivery, crust VERY well done. I paid in cash and tipped very well. The pizza was so floppy that When I picked up a piece, everything slid off. Well done? Far, far from it. The pepperoni was still almost cold, not cooked. So I called Marzellas. I spoke with the woman Who initially took my order, and she was very lovely and apologetic. She asked if I could hold, so I said yes, after which a snotty young man got on the phone who spoke in single words, not even full sentences, and basically said nothing. But even “Sorry.” DEFINITELY didn’t even say anything about how could he make this right. He hung up after “Oh well.” Applying.Mommy son and I start to eat some more. Two more bites into the fist slice and I get a LONG hair coming out of the pizza. I’m astounded. So I call back and this time I get the same young man who I held for on the phone the first time. I tell him what happened. I get a meek “sorry that happened to you.” ARE YOU KIDDING ME?” That’s what I said. I had gone into another room to make this second call, and as I’m saying what I said above, my son crack the door and shows me he’s pulling a long hair out of his slice of pizza. OMG. I tell the “manager” this as it’s happening and he says “well I talked to the chef. Don’t what an other pizza? “ I said yes—but we’re not eating it. It’s getting fed to our pets when it gets here and it looks like I’m cooking now when the whole point of ordering pizza from Marzellas was to avoid cooking. The food not only sucked but it was a clear health code violation, but the “customer service” from this jackass, monotone young man was next level. His does he even still have a job?
