“We always make it a point to stop at Plaza Azteca whenever we’re in town! It’s become one of our favorite go-to spots. We usually grab seats at the bar, and we’re lucky enough to almost ALWAYS have Juan Carlos taking care of us.

Juan Carlos is truly amazing — he consistently delivers delicious drinks and top-notch service. He’s attentive, friendly, and makes every visit feel welcoming and fun. The service keeps us coming back just as much as the food and drinks do.

And we highly recommend the at-table guacamole — it’s fresh, flavorful, and such a fun experience watching it being made right in front of you!

“This place surprised me, I hadn't been to a qdoba in years and didn't think I liked it very much but they fixed it, the food is GREAT, many in my family prefer it over Chipotle, their queso is awesome (way better than Chipotle). Great portion size (unlike Chipotle) and they don't charge extra for guac/queso either! This store is very clean. The ingredients always seem super fresh and they have a lot of variety and the flavors are great. I hope more people discover this location because its a bit hidden away and I want it to stay in business because I like it 🙏😂 If you haven't been here yet, you should try it out!“

“The food is something else. Fresh, delicious, I did not leave a single bite on my plate. The chips were perfect and my birria was so full of flavor. The staff is so nice and the music at the bar is love but a tad loud sometimes. The dining room where I did not sit gas a much more clinical vibe to it so the atmosphere there will probably be different“

“We had the best taco birria with consome and el pastor in the philadelphia area. They also made us a fresh green salad with cactus. So clean with lovely Mexican atmosphere. Air conditionined with clean tables.

I usually order the 1/2 tray of meat and couple of side for my family for dinner and it never disappoints, and we always have leftovers for lunch or the next nights dinner. The owner is very nice and she’s always there to make sure everything coming out of the kitchen is top tier. 10 out of 10 in my books!! I usually don’t leave ratings but I’ve been here a bunch of times since I lived in KOP and I’ve never been disappointed so they deserve it. 👍🏾 Keep up the great work!!“

Only request I would make is adding some salads to the menu. I eat out frequently and try to not eat too poorly each time so a salad here and there would help lol. The el pastor meat a perfect mix of the sweet pineapple and savory pork. We all agreed that the quesadilla was the best option! The service could be better. The seating area is limited! The staff seem to be new to serving and we're a little slow at turning the tables over quickly but I'm sure they will get better! They do a ton of take out business. I'll be back again for sure!“

I have had it delivered to my work on multiple occasions and the food is always warm and tastes very fresh! They have a wide variety of options, which allows you to find something for even your most picky coworkers and friends. It really seems like they put a lot of effort into every dish they make to ensure only the best for their customers. I applaud management, they are clearly doing something right! “La orden de flautas viene con 7 flautas!!! Deliciosas, crujientes, lo mejor!! --La mejor taquería en el area. Their tripa is crispy, savory and goes perfectly with the salsas! Salsa verde has avocado in it, not a guacamole but creamy and delicious. Salsa roja was spicy not too much, and had that spice flavor to it. We ordered tacos which were well served, with fresh onions and cilantro. Longaniza, suadero y lengua were a hit with my family. We also ordered the sopes and these are not your traditional sopes (small round) but the original from Michoacan flat, long, with beans and the meat of your choice. Topped with sour cream and salsa mmmmm can't describe the flavor. It takes me back to México!! FYI cash only! Solo efectivo!!“
