We stopped off randomly for lunch on a day trip around Ohiopyle. We saw the signs advertising local lamb and ice cream and had to give it a try. To say we were impressed is an understatement. The lamb sub we had was some of the best lamb we have ever had. I had a divine milkshake and my Mom had a homemade carrot cake that had her raving. The staff was busy but prompt with the service. It's a shame they're closing for the season after Labor Day. I will absolutely be returning...
Delicious food, amazing ice cream. I stop every time I’m anywhere near this place, I’ll drive half an hour out of my way for a gyro, a blueberry milkshake, and a cheesesteak for later. I’ve been stopping here for 10 years on my way to my secret fishing spot. They’re short staffed like everyone else, just don’t whine about it and you’ll discover a gem of a restaurant in the mountains.
Our experience at Shepherd’s Farm was excellent. The food was delicious, the atmosphere and service were great, and we were thrilled to find some more rare options like pasture raised lamb and fresh rhubarb. We’ll definitely be back and would highly recommend!
