An amazing gem in Confluence in a building beautifully restored — great art by regional artists and craft coffee from Commonplace out of Pittsburgh. Can't wait to go back and cozy up by the wood-burning stove.

I had the pleasure of staying overnight at Tissue farm and waking up to amazing coffee and scones. Pope and Suzanne have a wonderful space with light and art everywhere. The room is clean and pleasant with an incredibly comfortable bed. The hosts are charismatic and I loved my stay!

Great shop. Espresso was tasty, cookies looked amazing, sources local stuff whenever possible, bicycle parking, and even art. Well worth the short pedal off the GAP trail into Confluence or as a destination ride from Ohiopyle.

After camping at Outflow and a long bike ride the previous day, we decided to look through town for a chance of getting some coffee before another day of riding. I had low expectations. What a pleasant surprise to find this place. A total gem. Had 2 espressos and a delicious scone. As we were leaving, one of the owners told us the story of how the name came to be, very cool story! I will visit this coffee shop EVERY time I'm in the area. Fantastic way to start a ride/day.

The owner use to be one of the top construction people for Burning Man in Nevada. Coffee is smooth, the blueberry lemon scone is crunchy while fluffy, have a slow drink while browsing the art gallery. Take your time, relax; there is some good stuff to see and ponder!

Great coffee and friendly staff. Perfect way to kick off a long bike ride. The attached art gallery was also nice to check out while sipping on a cup of Joe.

Best Coffee around, the mochas and scones are phenomenal.

This is a great, simple coffee bar/art gallery combo. I live far away and would go again. The location near the rail trail and Outflow campground and otherwise quiet context make it even better. Coffee is a subjective thing, but they did well here and it's not a case of "let's buy an espresso machine and figure it out." as can sometimes be the case in rural contexts where competition is minimal.

Had a wonderful bacon and cheddar scone and the Americano hit the spot before a day a riding the GAP. I also had the opportunity to meet the owner, Pope, who is a five star human. As a solo GAP traveler it was so nice to connect with kind people along the trail - Pope and the team at Tissue Farm are just that. Make sure to make the visit!

We stopped and had coffee while riding the trail from PGH to DC and it was the best coffee of the trip - hands down!We also loved the art. We purchased a bunch of pieces and they shipped it to us.Amazing place and highly recommend stopping along the way!

Great coffee in a wonderful space full of art and local history. Perfect addition to downtown Confluence and close to nature.

My husband and I were told to stop in, by local friends, and we're so glad we did. The oat milk latte was fantastic (not usually a fan of oat milk) and didn't raise my blood sugar like others have (T1 diabetic). The owners, Pope and Suzanne, are great. The back is a large, beautiful art gallery/ gathering spot that overlooks the river. 100% chance of returning when visit Confluence again.
