“What a charming little restaurant! I sat at the bar on a work trip for an early dinner, which they actually have a menu for! Prices are reasonable for the city, and 4-6 is happy hour so I came at the right time for great prices and drinks and appetizers. Would definitely recommend! Plus this is walking distance to many nice hotels downtown. Only 5 min walk from the Kimpton Palomar! Would recommend calling ahead to ensure availability.“

“Great atmosphere and a solid menu. The fig and walnut pizza was decent, but not great. The chipotle burger was very good. There’s a good cocktail and beer list, and a decent amount of specials. There’s a good size parking lot around the back on the other side of the street. Otherwise street parking is tough.“

“I was there celebrating my brother’s birthday and they accommodated our family quite well with a large group setting by a window! Lovely waitress who was quick and very attentive to everything we needed. I would definitely recommend it to any visiting Mt. Airy. 😊😄😋💕💕“

“First time at the Ale House and we were really happy we went! Great bartenders/waitstaff, delicious portions of Fish & Chips and Roast Beef Sandwich w/ skinny fries, sadly we didn't save room for dessert. Definitely a sports bar vibe w/ 8 big screen TVs in the bar area. Did not get a look at the dining room but it seems to be a good size.

“I ordered lunch for my family, for take out. One item was loaded potato puffs. They came with a very small drizzle of sour cream and a few small pieces of bacon. most were dry and plain. Very frustrating as this was my husbands only food he ordered and will be eating 😔“

“today is April 17 th. My two friends and I had lunch here. Autumn was our waitress. The prime rib sandwich was FANTASTIC!!! Our friend also had the roast beef sandwich and she loved it too. “This was our first time at The Side Car and we were really pleased. It can be tough for me to find classic bar food that still works with being gluten free and mostly plant based, so I was thrilled to see both an appetizer and an entrée that fit my needs.\n\nThe brussel sprout appetizer was fabulous, though be warned, it’s spicy. I love heat, so it was perfect for me. My entrée, the new vegan enchiladas, was also great. They were flavorful without being overly heavy, which made the whole meal feel satisfying but not too filling.\n\nThe rest of my family raved about the Detroit style pizza and the wings. We will definitely be back. The service was spot on, the food was enjoyable, and while the atmosphere was loud, it was still manageable for a fun family night out. Best of all, the prices felt reasonable, especially compared to many places that feel a bit overpriced for a family dinner.\n\nHighly recommend!“

“The cauliflower with hot sauce was delightful as an appetizer. The Mediterranean burger was nice but not as flavorful as I had hoped. The fries that came with it were done to perfection though. The beers on tap selection was smallish but a good variety of styles. Very clean place and the staff was friendly and helpful with suggestions.“

“The waffles with fresh homemade whipped cream, maple syrup and fresh, in-season berries at brunch 🤤. Had the fried catfish sandwich 9 months ago and I still talk about how freaking good it was. Also appreciate the nod to local Roxborough history on the menu ❤️“

“Stopped here this past weekend and got some of the most delicious sandwiches! Started with the Tuna Tartare which was phenomenal and each had a sandwich for dinner. The vodka parm sandwich and the french dip were delicious and the sesame rolls tasted so fresh. Would recommend to anyone in the area!“

“I came here a bit out of sorts after a personal setback. “Doe is the reason we keep coming back to Cavanaugh’s Rittenhouse. Service is accurate and fast. Doe pays attention to every detail and keeps the whole experience smooth. We always hope to land in Doe’s section for watch parties. The night could have gone a different direction, but Doe made the difference. Great spot, great energy, outstanding service.“
