This place has a fully vegan and vegetarian menu for breakfast. Tofu scramble or avocado Bennie!!! So kind and superb here. If you are a vegan or vegetarian you found your local diner! Thank you for being!
We came to Izenberg’s because they have a dedicated vegan menu. The three of us ordered the breakfast burrito with home fries (asked them to put the potatoes inside the burritos, which they had never done before, but graciously complied). Big hit. My friends also ordered the buckwheat pancakes with bananas (eaten there), and I got latkes and a Mother Earth wrap to go home. The pancakes were also a big hit. One assumption you can’t make is whether they’d have vegan butter...
The cake was absolutely delicious. Icing was not too sweet and the cake itself was so moist. I will definitely be using Izenbergs again!!!
