My sister and I had the best brunch here. Our server (Ina I believe) was friendly and made great recommendations that we took. The atmosphere felt comfortable but stylish at the same time. Definitely coming back!

I'm really sorry we ordered here. I seen the five stars and was excited. I called in my order told the lady that answer my order, it was a nice size amount. We order 4 side orders two Brussels sprouts and two orders of short rib, mac & cheese and two orders of peach cobbler. Also 2 chicken and waffles with two different sauces and cheese steak egg roll. The lady repeated my order and when she gave me the total something didn't sound right with the math so I asked her how much was the taxes. With the taxes and the pricing of what there menu stats online didn't add up. That was my first sign about five minutes later I get a call from them saying they was out of the dessert. Ok made the changes needed asked for the new price still was off for what we ordered. At this point I'm picking up my order get back to my location I was at. The ice cream was soup not mad about that putting cold food on hot food. But the food wasnt all that. My team that I order with throw out most of it. The egg rolls did not taste like a real cheese steak. I was out an order of shot rib mac and cheese. When I called the back to tell the lady we was missing items she had an attitude and stated oh I'm sorry do you want to place another order. I'm sorry I paided over $100+ for food that is price way over what there menu states it should be

It was a great meal, their menu it supposed to be changing soon so I'm interested to see what that looks like. I went for Taco Tuesday and it was about $5 a taco. The steak was a favorite. Definitely will be back

It was a good experience. It's worth a visit. For the month of February, they had a snow crab leg special, and it was delicious.

Sadly couldn’t recommend this place. We actually ordered takeout from the Greek place right next door but when I got to the location I saw southern food and couldn’t help myself but to order a jambalaya from southern cross as well.I’m sad to report that it was 25$ and barely any chicken or sausage. What you see in the picture was the original portion cut in half. For 25$ though I don’t expect what would essentially be a meatless jambalaya. I was hoping to enjoy this so much to return to sample other menu items, however looking at the menu prices, 16$ for a burrito etc, there’s no way I’ll take another risk on another dish. For those prices I expect top quality, even at modern inflation, but you won’t find it here. The story has a happy ending though. The gyro I had next door was the best I’ve ever ate. ….and it was shockingly 8$. Mind blown.

Introduction: My boyfriend and I came here for the first time.Experience: The experience was nice.Welcome: The hostess greeted up with a smile and cheery attitude. Luke our waiter was wonderful. He brought us our water a few minutes after we sat down. He gave us a few minutes to look over the menu. We ordered our drinks and appetizers. Our appetizers came out about 6-8 minutes after we ordered them. When he returned with our appetizers, we were ready to order our entrées. In about 15 minutes our meals were brought out to us by the waiter not someone in the kitchen. When I saw my food, I couldn’t believe how much food was on the charcuterie board, which by the way was a nice unique alternative to serve your food on.Ambiance: The restaurant was clean with dim lighting. There is a lit candle on the table. There is a chalkboard on the wall that list upcoming events and hours of operation. Live music (played at a romantic level) while you eat, always a nice added touch and also one of the reasons we chose this restaurant.Food: Dined inAppetizers: Cheesesteak egg rolls were hot and filled with meat which was stuffed inside a crispy egg roll. The mushroom and pesto flatbread was hot and cut into small pizza like slices. Both items were delicious! They also have a great drink menu with a fair variety of drinks.Entrée: I ordered the Build Your Own Grill Plate: bbq brisket, smoked mac&cheese, and sweet potato fries which came with a vanilla bourbon cream. I requested to make the bbq sauce spicy(for my brisket), but due to the way it is cooked they were unable to fulfill that request however, the waiter said he would get me a side of voodoo (delicious) sauce. The mac&cheese was delicious served hot! One of the things I really liked was the mac&cheese remained hot throughout my dining. I received four nice size slices of brisket. The vanilla cream that came with the fries was good, but I think my boyfriend liked it more than I did ?.My boyfriend ordered 1st Ave Burger. The burger had pimento cheese on. It was his the first time eating pimento cheese and he liked it. The burger was a nice size, and it came with French fries as the side. He said he liked his food. Our drinks came in mason glasses which was another added unique touch.Price: The quality of the food was superb and the quantity was satisfying, which made all of our food worth the price! Will return: We will most certainly be returning. We truly enjoyed our overall dining experience.Stars: I give it 5 stars.Tip: Come in with a hearty appetite and enjoy your dining experience at affordable prices. A nice place for a date as long as your significant other is not afraid to eat.Thank you Luke for being an awesome waiter and way to go Southern Cross Kitchen for tasty delicious food, good music, and a wonderful first experience ?!I apologize a couple of the pictures came out blurred. I will make sure I check the pictures in the future to ensure they are all clear to view.Parking: We went in the evening and there was no where to park on the street. Across the street from the restaurant is.big parking lot with lots of parking spaces and it was free.

Such a nice little spot with plenty of parking right across the street! I was greeted by multiple smiling faces, sat right away and my food came out quickly. Highly recommend the Cajan Penne Pasta with a side of Jalapeño Cornbread! Friendly service and delicious food right in downtown Conshy.

Had dinner with my wife. Service from the front door was very nice. No wait on a Friday. Waitress was very friendly and attentive. Food was very good (chicken sandwich, chicken and waffles, cheese steak egg rolls, fried pickles- pickles are made in house!).Will definitely go back. A lot more on the menu I want to try and two pages of bourbon!
