We were in the area yesterday and stopped here for lunch. Wow! Flavors were incredible. Salsa was fresh and delicious. Ground beef tacos were overflowing and the meat was so flavorful. Mild sauce was yum and sizzling chicken fajitas were amazing! Peppers crisp and chicken moist. So much flavor and enough for leftovers.

Been going here for over 5 years and they rock it!3 of us for dinner last night. Birria tacos, excellent with spicy guacamole. Jefe tacos piled high with citrus pork, tender, delicious and Coco Corona shrimp that were huge and fabulous.Service great, seated and served quickly.

I have been going to Casa Toro for over 10 years. The food has always been delicious and service has been great. I have only ordered take away since Covid started. Today I went with my family of 10 for dinner at 4:55 and was TURNED away, literally turned away. The manager informed me that she couldn't seat a party of our size and that she had turned away another large party earlier. I asked if we could split into a table of 4 and a table of 6 and she said she still couldn't accommodate us.By turning away two large parties, the manager lost the restaurant at least $400 (and that is just the 2 parties I know she turned away). A more savvy business move would have been to say we have many big parties now and coming up soon, I can seat you but you are going to have to wait 60 minutes, 90 minutes, 120 minutes (however long)..... and then we could have decided to stay or leave. She didn't give us that option she literally just turned us away, I have never seen such bad managing. We went to Copperhead and were told to wait 5 minutes and they could seat us.

The amount of rice u get is measured from the cooks filling a container the size of something they put ketchup in. Typically a little black cup. The shrimp tacos had only two shrimp in each of three tacos for 20 dollars. The shells were about half the size of the typical shells u get at the supermarket and were over cooked and brittle. The waitress said they are made in the morning and then reheated. That tastes about right. Under the two pieces of shrimp was literally a tablespoon of cabbage.The chicken tacos tasted like they have been reheating the chicken for a week.I had two margaritas which were good but not good enough to forget this place. A Mexican would not eat here.

The food arrived quickly and was served hot, however it completely lacked flavor. Even the sauces we ordered for our food didn't help bring the dishes to life. Salt was also used very heavily, in place of any other spices or flavors.
Love this place but getting seated was not a fun experience. When the bus girl is kicking the straw paper to the side so she doesn’t have to clean it up. It was busy but they didn’t do a great cleanup job. Food is always solid with best tres leches around. Put in reservation and still had to wait 40 min from reservation time to be seated. Just a bit disappointed in experience. Thankfully the food was good at least….
