We use to really like it here. But they got rid of most of all their topping selections. They only have Oreo, sprinkles and nuts to choose from. They also stopped carrying Pittsburgh Pride which we were always told is their most popular ice cream. They use Perrys Ice Cream (which we love)
This is a small place with tables and street parking. Staff seemed friendly well at least some that I’ve met. The ice cream is delivered by Perry’s ice cream. Not sure why their sign says homemade? You’ll have to google the hours. The map on my phone says 2pm-9pm everyday but fb says 5pm-9pm Thursday-Sunday. I would call to confirm before going there.
They sell Perry’s ice cream. People have made reviews awhile back saying they sell Betsy’s. I’m so confused maybe they use to and now they order ice cream from Perry’s. I saw Perry’s truck there in front of the shop. But they don’t have a sign saying they proudly serve it hm. And they don’t make homemade ice cream at Janie’s. That’s falsely advertised.
