I am from out of town so I don’t frequent the area much. Due to the mixed reviews I was hesitant to wait and order here vs going to a Starbucks before arriving at the airport. I was pleasantly surprised that my drink came relatively quickly (I used the mobile app to order) and that it was accurate. Staff seemed busy but were still polite. I did not order any food.

I had a connecting flight and stopped in to get an iced coffee, I ordered 8 shots of espresso and was questioned “8?” I said yes, I say thank you because I have manners, the staff does not, I then proceed to wait in line with others waiting for their coffee. While I wait the male who took my order says to one of the 2 females working in annoyance “8 shots!!” The female then shakes her head in annoyance. I’m literally looking right at them. Everyone seemed to be below them and annoy them. Every time a customer asked for something and said thank you the staff silently gave them what they asked for and walked around like they would love to be anywhere but there. The atmosphere was so horrible. I’ve never been to such a horrible Starbucks. Like literally these two hate their jobs.

I’ve been to tons of Starbucks over the years and this was by far the worst experience I’ve had. Drinks were watery. My American was water, almond milk with a hint of coffee flavor. They forgot to put Carmel in the Carmel latte. Every employee was moving at sloth speed. It took longer to order and get drinks than it did to get through security. Not to mention there was a hoard of employees standing in the back of the store.

Hi,
We love Starbucks. But the fact of eliminating the tables and chairs gives the impression (well, maybe it's a fact) that Starbucks has become an utterly expensive walk-through place to just grab a drink and leave. How these prices can be longer justified when the experience is so lacking? I believe that while looking for convenience, management is probably missing the point and jeopardizing what was an excellent concept that allowed the (worldwide) success of Starbucks. We still like the drinks and the app though.

Sad to say, the powers that be for this location in the Pittsburgh airport core has made it worth avoiding. Ripped out all the seating and often leave it under-staffed. Enjoyed it when it first opened here. Now I avoid it like the plague.

I went to order there was no one in line the lady working at the register told me they were out of every drink I named her finally she said yes to a drink after saying 5 different drinks and then told me I couldn’t pay cash it was card only but then the guy behind me paid cash she was very rude and and ignorant and treated me very probably because she seen a was a young girl in my 20s a very nice kinda lady named Tosha did come speak to me and tell me she was sorry about everything not her fault again people should treat others how they want to be treated

Waited for 25 minutes for food at 5am and was told they were understaffed and weren't doing food. I understand being under staffed but they are under managed. Who let's people stand in a lin that long for nothing?! No sign, no announcement. Absolutely pitiful customer service.
