Update: I was realllly craving the flavor and went again and this time it was fresh and amazing! Dining room was still meh but I got it to go. Hopefully not playing roulette each time I go but if it’s as good as it was this time . Updated review would give a 5/5 if it was consistent !
Have been here twice now. First time I did the self checkout. Second time I had a really nice lady help me at the counter , very personable . The tables were all gross and there was food on the floor both times I went . My first visit I went at around 7PM and my 5pc chicken was very dry and chewy, thought maybe it was a fluke as I only heard good things. Second time I had the same experience at 6PM , dinner rush time . The flavor on the chicken is amazing, very crisp as well. Just disappointed that it was so dry and chewy both times .
Might need to work on not preparing as much food ahead of time , not sure ? I want to go back soooooo bad as the spice and flavor is amazing but the chicken is a workout to eat with how chewy/dry it was and I don’t want to be disappointed a 3rd time .

Food was pretty good but restaurant was a disgusting mess and the employees weren’t friendly at all. Garbage laying around the garbage can, stuff splattered all over the garbage can and floor. Men’s toilet didn’t look like it had been flushed all day and had urine sprayed all over the seat. Workers sitting around with earbuds in. Asked for ranch later on and got charged .53 cents for a small container. They don’t take cash so had to run my card again. Overall a pretty bad experience

Ordered through door dash & the food was amazing! Will definitely be ordering again. The hot honey chicken sandwich had sooo much flavor and the Mac & cheese was delicious. Portion sizes were really good as well

I am really conflicted by my experiences here. First off, the 3 piece tender meal with fries tasted good, the chicken was large and well seasoned. The fries were pretty soggy but still fine and the sauce was good.
Two issues with the food though: the first was that each piece of chicken seemed to be a drastically different level of spice. Annoying but not the end of the world. The second was we got two meals to go, and when we got home about 10 minutes later, both boxes had soaked through and the bottoms had fallen off. There was about a solid cup of oil pooling in the bag. Pretty nasty and lucky it didn't get on my car floor.
The clientele when I was there in the afternoon leaned heavily into meth head chic, with lots of pacing back and forth and jittering from multiple customers. This isn't the business's fault, it just felt weird being there.

I’d give it 4.5. The tenders, Mac and banana pudding were great. Not the biggest fan of Nashville hot because it’s greasy but the tenders weren’t very. Medium heat has some punch.

I used to love the location by Pitt. This was not as good. Somewhat cold dry chicken during the lunch rush. Not hot and juicy, the fries were sad. And the space itself was chilly with the door opening. Table was dirty. Staff was friendly.
This place very good for a southern style fried chicken place. I like that they allow you to choose you spice level on anything you order there even choosing no spice. Makes it a great place for my family with varying tastes in spice level. Chicken nugget meal seems like a particularly good deal with the amount they give you. Not a ton of seating inside though if you are looking for a sit down place that accommodates large groups.

This place has an amazing chicken sandwich that I look forward to every time I'm in the area. Went there today (11/9/24 - 2:00pm) there was one couple seated in the dining area, no one at counter. Looked at menu for a few minutes, no one came to the counter so family used restrooms. Restrooms were dirty, no soap. Kitchen looked dirty. Employees saw us standing there, no acknowledgement. Must not have wanted our business so we walked out.

Would not accept my legal tender, so I was unable to try my order. Even offered to pay exact cash or round up. If this place was smart, they would accept my cash and charge their own credit card or pay with their venmo account. It would save them credit card charges plus make tips. Wake up CHiKN.

Was driving through town and wanted to try this place out for a while.
The bag seem a little light, but I didn't think anything of it.
The salad had barely any chicken? on it. Like some crumbs of breading. So sad.
The "5 tender box" ended up being 3 half broken dried out tenders (see pic - apple and fork for reference). I thought I would have enough food for at least 2 people. For $30+ - you can definitely go somewhere else.
Nope. I wasn't willing to drive all the way back to PA to get a refund, but DEFINITELY DO NOT recommend.
