Very good diner, excellent breakfast selection. Been there multiple times but only for breakfast so can't talk about the rest of the menu. Got the banana walnut French toast and it was amazing. Very tasty and nice portion. The meal came with eggs, bacon, and their cottage fries (cubed potatoes) which are super good.
Great Sunday brunch place
For a breakfast restaurant, you can’t go wrong here. Food was excellent, service was great, no complaints at all. Very fair pricing too.
My husband and I waited for about 7 mins at the front; (wait to be seated type of establishment); and we wasn’t even greeted. So we sat down and waited a few more moments. I hear the door open and a white man walks in. A waitress, who seen us waiting thee entire time, instantly comes up to us to ask if we’ve been helped. (Really girl) … We stated No! She quickly sat us down and said someone else would be with us, only to serve the white man quickly… and just so happen she was his waitress. He was served with a menu and coffee before anyone even came to our table. I could say the rest of the story but we can feel where it’s going. Needless to say, my husband and I left and would never return nor recommend.
Great food with reasonable prices, and the staff is fairly attentive to their customers. Would go again.
This used to be THE BREAKFAST SPOT! We would go almost every single weekend. But now, they removed waffles from the menu, I heard the owners didn’t want to spend the money on a new waffle maker?!? When asked, the wait staff said it’ll end up hurting them because almost every breakfast order they have has a waffle and they’ve been receiving a lot of complaints that they’re no longer on the menu. This was a very poor choice on management’s end. The cottage fries are amazing but not enough to overlook the lack of waffles. Lost not only me and my husband but both sides of our families as well as loyal customers. So where can we find a good waffle around here?
Used to be our go-to, almost weekly breakfast place, until they stopped selling waffles. Breakfast food is decent, cottage fries are still the best breakfast potato around, but will be finding a new spot with waffles.
It has been a while since I was here. It turned out to run into someone we knew from another establishment (Poney Tails) .
It was great seeing her.
Now, onto the food! My western omelet was one of the best I have had in some time. Everything was great...
Parking: Since it was during the day.. was quickly seated and served.

The waitress was nice but the wait for food was almost an hour. Then they charge $2.20 for whip cream on 2 kids meals.
Food was fine but waiting that long with kids and then being charged for whip cream for those kids….not going back.

Great diner in the Verona area. I stopped here one day on the way to Penn Hills, and it was not disappointing. Not overly cheap, but certainly not crazy expensive. I had corned beef with poached eggs over top, with hash browns. Everything turned out great. Corned beef was not overly salty, and 12 grain bread was actually very good. I would recommend checking it out. Follow for more...
