It has been a while since I was here. It turned out to run into someone we knew from another establishment (Poney Tails) .
It was great seeing her.
Now, onto the food! My western omelet was one of the best I have had in some time. Everything was great...

Parking: Since it was during the day.. was quickly seated and served.

The waitress was nice but the wait for food was almost an hour. Then they charge $2.20 for whip cream on 2 kids meals.
Food was fine but waiting that long with kids and then being charged for whip cream for those kids….not going back.

Great food, however nip pick on sides which drives up the price.

Great diner in the Verona area. I stopped here one day on the way to Penn Hills, and it was not disappointing. Not overly cheap, but certainly not crazy expensive. I had corned beef with poached eggs over top, with hash browns. Everything turned out great. Corned beef was not overly salty, and 12 grain bread was actually very good. I would recommend checking it out. Follow for more...

Very nice ambiance. I meet with life long friends every few weeks for breakfast. We go to different places but this is one of my favorite.

Food was bad. I gave this place two chances and every time I go there I get disappointed. Never going back there. I ordered an omelette and home fries. The omelette was terrible its like a salad. no eggs I attached a picture so it's believable. Toast was soggy. Don't let me start with the home fries too

As much as we love First Watch, there's something about Freedom Square Diner that makes it stand out as the ultimate breakfast spot in Cranberry.

First, the atmosphere feels both warm and welcoming. Whether you’re dining solo or with family, the diner’s cozy, classic setup instantly makes you feel at home. It has that authentic diner charm where the staff knows regulars by name, making the experience feel personal.

When it comes to the menu, Freedom Square Diner nails the balance between variety and quality. Their breakfast options feel hearty and satisfying, made with fresh ingredients that pack flavor into every bite. While First Watch offers some healthy and trendy options, Freedom Square Diner brings a timeless, comfort-food approach that just hits the spot. From fluffy pancakes to perfectly crispy bacon, the diner excels in classic breakfast fare that reminds you of home-cooked meals.
