The waitress was nice but the wait for food was almost an hour. Then they charge $2.20 for whip cream on 2 kids meals. Food was fine but waiting that long with kids and then being charged for whip cream for those kids….not going back.

Great diner in the Verona area. I stopped here one day on the way to Penn Hills, and it was not disappointing. Not overly cheap, but certainly not crazy expensive. I had corned beef with poached eggs over top, with hash browns. Everything turned out great. Corned beef was not overly salty, and 12 grain bread was actually very good. Food was bad. I gave this place two chances and every time I go there I get disappointed. Never going back there. I ordered an omelette and home fries. The omelette was terrible its like a salad. no eggs I attached a picture so it's believable. Toast was soggy. Don't let me start with the home fries too
All the staff seemed to be angry that day (with each other). Very unusual, but not normal from past experiences

On the way back with my grandkids. From New Brighton, PA, we found this owner ate breakfast there and was definitely impressed. Food was good atmosphere was good treated. My grandkids good, very great place. I have to tip my hat to whoever cooked the food because the food was excellent.
