Creamsicle Margarita? Yes, please!
Great food with a great environment. Outside seating, very hot and 🥵 options. Buffalo Insane is my fave sauce here.
You won't be disappointed with an American Mexican restaurant. The big burrito 🤤...always changing the beer selection. What else do you need?
No more Hungry Hippie Burrito
Mad Mex is a Pittsburgh staple with an incredible array of fresh, unique, Cal-Mex dishes. I love their tortilla soup, dance marathon burrito, and san Francisco wings.
The food was good. Big portion. The service was excellent.
Of all the places to order wings… these things were frickin’ great. Perfectly crispy, sauced just right, and full of flavor that slaps harder than you'd expect. The order comes in an oddly specific 14—random, but somehow it just works. Pair that with a couple of cold Modelo beers, and you've got yourself a damn good night. Mad Max surprised the hell out of me—in the best way. Wings, beer, and vibes? Hit the spot.
The best Mexican food. Always consistent, fast, filling. Our #1 Mexican spot no doubt.
Corn on the cob was undercooked. All you tasted was charcoal, aioli and starch. Big AZZ margarita was WAY overpriced and tasted awful. They said it was hand mixed and then put into a machine. We ordered the Birria (tacos and quesadillas). Both had NO flavor and full of fat. Consommé was flavorless and oily. NOT Mexican at all. Very disappointed. We were so hopeful for authentic food. Not to mention the odd and not so friendly looking art work.
Went here for dinner, it was delicious! Got guacamole that tasted amazing with chips that were still warm, the pennsytuckey fried tofu which was FANTASTIC, seriously i don't even like tofu normally but this was perfectly crispy with the most delicioua sauce, and my birria tacos were top notch. The staff was all really friendly too!
Had a nice lunch here...the fajitas and chips with salsa were really good. Service was great.

Large portions, but it's not Mexican food. It's some sort of Mexican/American fusion.
We are regulars and have never had a bad server or experience. Service is always quick and polite
Mad Mex is one of my families favorite places to eat. Everything on their menu is great. I have never had a bad experience at any of the locations. The staff are excellent and accomidating. Great place for kids as well.

The Gobblerito is out of this world. I get it all the time. I tell my friends who live in Ohio about it. I buy extras to bring home. Never stop making the Gobblerito. Best Thanksgiving dinner I've ever had.
