Carry out. I'm a native New Yorker and am a bit of a pizza snob. But I really like this place for pizza! And, there ware PLENTY of staff that were friendly and made the wait for the food was short.

We have been going to this restaurant since 2001. In 2001, they were already in business and had nailed down how to operate for 20 plus years. Food is always delicious and fresh and the atmosphere is comfortable and it’s great place to take the family.

For anyone who wants to enjoy eating with friends, family, ect. I do not recommend Montecellos. They do not take reservations, but ask you to tell them when you get there for a larger party. We did just that, but then they refused to seat us until every individual showed up. We previously called ahead of time, to ensure there were seats available. We had to wait 30 minutes at the entrance because 1 party member got off at a later time than the planned arrangement of dining at this establishment. Even though 8 out of the 9 party members were there, we were still refused seating. I work at a different pizza establishment and we also have dine-in and take-out. We also don't do reservations, but if a large party comes in for dine-in we seat them right away if possible, even if only one of the party members are there. Keep in mind the most a table is supposed to seat is 6, but we combine tables together, move chairs around, whatever we have to, to ensure the customers get what they need. The service at Montecellos was severely lacking, and the employees didn't seem to know or understand what they were doing. Our whole party was severely disappointed and left unsatisfied with the employees and establishment as a whole.

I think its completely inappropriate for you guys to refuse to service people that make reservations and won't seat us until the whole party is there. They wouldn't let us sit down until the last person from the party came. The thing is we even called ahead they wait until the last minute you walk into the store and tell you they won't service you until everyone gets there. Get better servicing your guests. Go to a different restaurant if you ever want to make a reservation this place Dennys is the place to go

The service is horrible, we couldn't get seated until everyone in the party was there. Denny's gave us better service than Monte Cello's.

Decent food does not make up for poor service and policies. It's unrealistic to expect every party member to be present to be seated when you don't take reservations.

They refused to seat us until everyone in our party was here. I explained we were on a tight schedule and everyone would be here in a matter of 10 minutes. They changed their policy to no free refills. I will not be coming back.

I’m not going to lie when I say my taste obviously differs from others. I tend to eat from expensive and fine restaurants, when Im not out my meals are made and homecooked (not out of a box unless we aren’t up for cooking). But I can say with confidence the quality of the food is just horrid. I had gotten chicken alfredo (maybe that was my first mistake as this place is known for their pizza). The chicken doesn’t even seem like real chicken and had a spongey/soft texture. Noodles were soggy and seemed as if they were sitting in a basin for hours on end. The alfredo sauce I could tell was just straight up watered down cheese. I really wanted to like it considering the group I was with seemed to enjoy their food, and if they didn’t they hid it well. I had gotten soda and a glass of water to help wash my food down, the water is straight from the tap. Not sure if they filter it. I could also taste soap or sanitizer residue on the glass as well. Overall I lost my appetite very quickly. Staff were very young which isn’t a problem but it seemed as if they were only working because their parents made them to or they needed it like a summer job. However the server was fairly respectful and her kindness was appreciated. Outside of that, the entire indoor place gives off a bar/diner vibe which was cool, a bit cluttered but not awful. I wouldn’t personally recommend but again, everyone has different tastes. Not for me but this is great for others.
