I have always liked their food and was happy when they finally started doing deliveries. I have ordered about 5 times or so now, and disappointed every single time. I dont know why, but the food is always inconsistent, where sometimes its okay, but other times its clearly cooked rushed and with old oil. I also have made alterations to my food, such as adding extra toppings when ordering online and every single time, none of them are done. I even pay upcharge fees for things like adding bacon, requesting certain sauces, and they are still done standard. Either the system they use for deliveries is not working right, or the cooks handling deliveries just dont care. I hate to leave a bad review, but my order tonight was honestly my last attempt ordering now. None of my burger alterations were done, as well as it and my chicken strips were beyond overcooked and dry. It's just not right for it to be wrong every time.

Bob & staff, we placed a large order this evening and were very pleased with the entire meal. Food arrived fast, was very hot, and tasted FANTASTIC! Burgers were delicious, pizzas were full of delicious toppings, and the homemade chips with Cajun ranch were crunchy and spicy! Plus we ordered 2 unbaked pizzas for the freezer. Thank you for your wonderful food and service. The delivery service is great!👍

I’ve been going to PJ’s my entire life, and as a mom to a young child with food allergies, I was so appreciative of how helpful the new owner, Bob, was in making sure we found safe food options for my son. He went above and beyond—even sending ingredient labels ahead of time so I could double-check everything myself. Not all restaurants are this accommodating, and eating out can be stressful when allergies are involved. I’d highly recommend PJ’s to anyone with food allergies (or anyone simply looking for delicious food and friendly service!).

The food shack is hands down the best sub shop in altoona! No joke I’ve turned damn near a dozen people on to these and they’re eating them daily at this point! Hard to go a couple days without craving another Italian sub (my personal favorite) but also the cheese steak sub and their Pittsburgh steak salads! Prices are great especially in this economy to eat a sub that in 1/4ths can satiate your appetite let alone eating each half of one for lunch or dinner (unless you’re starving then finishing the whole sub isn’t impossible in one sitting! No pun intended the Italian dressing is THE SECRET SAUCE, I order extra every time and hate to waste a drop! Treat your self, friends and family to a sub you won’t soon forget!

For starters the service was terrible and The menu absolutely sucked. my wife's burger was way under cooked and flavorless my club was extremely dry except for the bread it was soggy and I'm pretty sure they used craft singles on it the apps we got were more like breaded oil pockets. Definitely will not be eating there again
