Food delicious, tacos is real deal, I had ordered many different dishes and they all tasted good. Absolutely love French fries, looks like they making them and they so good, always buy for my son. I will definitely recommend El Patron for those who love real Mexican cuisine.
This place is amazing! Authentic Mexican food! Portions are huge and the ingredients are fresh! The staff is so friendly too! Check out this hidden gem in Croydon! You won’t be disappointed!

The food from this establishment is amazing, and by far the best in all of Croydon. There are plenty of options for everyone: vegetarian options, variety of cuisines, beverages, allergen safe options or the ability to be allergen safe. The only downside about this location is that it can be fairly pricy, but not the worse - if I order a burrito and fries, I'm paying about $20 after food & tip. It's not a regular establishment for me, but if I'm getting a craving for takeout it is my go-to in the area.
Vegetarian options: There are a good amount of vegetarian options.
Parking: There is parking at this establishment, but it can get a bit crammed - leaving this location there is also a busy road, which can also make things more difficult.

This is a small family owned business. Just simple decor but very clean & comfy.
The food was outstanding. From the small nacho appetizer that is included, with refried beans on top, to the nachos & cheese appetizer we ordered. My wife had the tacos. I had the Chimichanga (fried burrito). Some of the best Mexican food that we ever had.
Portions were big. We had to take some home for lunch the next day.
The sister was our server. She did an excellent job with a big smile. Friendly and helpful with the menu (which is very big with so many choices). We got to meet her brother who was the cook. He has been cooking since he was 5 years old. It shows. His cooking was excellent!!! We even met Mom. Such a sweet family who puts passion into their recipes and making sure their customers are happy. They made us feel like part of their family.
Such a great find online. We will be going back again. Can’t wait to go try some of their numerous other recipes.

i ordered delivery and omg..... the birria quesadilla is hands down the BEST quesadilla ive ever had. this is the best mexican food ive ever had. i usually get el limon in bristol but i think el patron takes the cake from now on. THANK U FOR ALL THAT U DO!! :)

Hands down the BEST taco spot around, awesome polite and welcoming staff, amazing authentic food made with love and good energy. You feel at home the second you walk in, it has a great homey atmosphere and eat in area. Stop by sometime and give it a try! Also try out their taco Tuesday they have a nice variety available! 🙏🏼👏🏼

Quesabirria tacos, yum! Vegetarian tacos! Chicken (shredded) tacos! The chips and Salsa made you want to order more. So delicious! Birria tastes like someone's mom is in the back slow cooking and simmering the broth. Service was so friendly!

Sitting down in the restaurant after seeing an Instagram ad is always worrisome. Being able to sit anywhere was nice, why I picked the seat next to the TV blasting music (hence the 4 stars for atmosphere, as it's great, just a little loud) wasn't the smartest idea. I was skeptical about it, but I ordered the birria tacos, which I saw on Instagram. I asked about alcohol, but they only have soda, coffee, and water. No alcohol. Only thing this place is missing is sipping on a Modelo or margarita. After ordering, nachos were brought to me and the first bite transported me to my grandmother's kitchen, as she made fresh corn tortillas. When the birria tacos came out (3 to a plate) they looked amazing. I tried the hot sauce which was hot, but the taste was delicious. The birria tacos did not disappoint in the slightest. If anyone asks me for a recommendation for a Mexican restaurant, I am going to recommend this place. No question the best Mexican food I've had outside of my family.
