Great atmosphere and lovely scenery! Staff is very accommodating and food is good.
My husband and myself were losing sleep thinking we’re never gonna taste Chef Paulo’s food again. Lol true story! And then we read that he was coming to The Wood Stone Country Club….so we made reservations asap and brought his parents who were big Aca Mia fans. Timber at Woodstone Country Club offers a beautiful atmosphere with large windows for watching the sunset, perfect for quiet conversation. The scenery and building are great, and the atmosphere adds to the ambience. The menu has great variety. Starters like the cheesesteak eggrolls are super flavorful and easy to share. The lobster ravioli mimosa has a light cream sauce with a hint of citrus. The Oyster Stew is a great surprise, and steaks are cooked to perfection. However, the burger and chicken sandwich are just ok, with buns way over cooked. Some guests miss the meals from Paolo, and suggest the restaurant be partitioned off from the bar and sports tv. Service can be attentive, though one waitress got distracted and forgot the espresso. Overall, the food is excellent for special occasions, and the cocktails are delicious, especially during ladies night.
