Stopped in for lunch and ordered a cheese steak with sauce. It was not busy and it took most of my lunch break just waiting for them to put the meat on the grill. The sandwich was good except for the sauce which can be improved. However, shortly after eating my stomach began to hurt. I was in distress for over a week unable to work. I can’t say for sure it was the sandwich but my doctor seems to think so. Probably just a rare occurrence. The food handlers do not wear gloves, if that makes a difference. I wish them the best.

If you're in Danville pa....YOU HAVE TO EAT HERE. The food is an explosion of messy flavor that is just the perfect ratio. An absolutely delightful ma n pa shop with AMAZING subs!! Five star everything.

I’ve been enjoying this sub shop since 1977! Originally owned by the Randello family, I was fortunate to meet Theresa and Maria while a student at St. Cyril Academy. Their family is the best!!! Born and raised in Chicago, I’ve never experienced subs, or cosmos like this! The best EVER! I’ve been returning to Danville since 1981. First stop is always The Danville Sub Shop! Although the original owner has passed, and his family has other businesses in town, it is still as good as I remember! The Cheese Cosmo is the best! My son brought eight home with him the last time we were there!!

This place is worth the stop. My family has been coming here for many years. We don't live in PA but whenever we come into town we HAVE to stop here. Definitely worth every penny. If you are looking for a sloppy sub with lots of meat and toppings, look no further! Thank you all for all you do!
