Danville Sub Shop Reviews
I’ve been enjoying this sub shop since 1977! Originally owned by the Randello family, I was fortunate to meet Theresa and Maria while a student at St. Cyril Academy. Their family is the best!!! If you’re reading this & decide to get a sub elsewhere, I want you to know you are making the worst mistake of your life. This is THE sub shop. Josh & Anthony are the greatest. If you choose to eat elsewhere, know that the people close to you are suffering from your poor decision making. Onward.
Food was delicious, and the smart young man running the counter that I placed an order with, was a pleasure to work with.

Danville Sub Shop is a family-owned and operated restaurant, known for its high-quality food and friendly atmosphere. Since 1977, this sub shop has been a staple in the community, celebrated for its delicious subs and the popular "Cheese Cosmo." The standout bread is often noted as the best in town. The restaurant offers vegetarian options and is flexible to accommodate personal needs. Customers frequently praise the generous portions of meat on the subs for the price, and the space is consistently kept clean, with staff busy cleaning or stocking when not serving. The atmosphere is easy-going and welcoming, making it a great spot for families. The staff, including Tony's nephew, are very friendly and courteous, often remembering customers' names. Many reviewers describe the experience as a delightful explosion of flavor, and appreciate the quality and friendliness that make it a highly recommended destination in Danville. While the fried perogies are liked, some customers have mentioned they could benefit from a sauce on the side. The fries have also been noted as needing more seasoning. The Old School Italian remains a go-to favorite for many, and the wet pepper spread is considered perfect. With a long history in the community, Danville Sub Shop continues to serve excellent food and aims to last for many more years.
