Was at Basilico‘s tonight the pasta oil was amazing. My experience there was wonderful. Service were all so friendly. My pasta came out. Perfect very tasty. Was an experience. I will not forget. I definitely recommend this place for anyone. That’s looking for an experience. I give this place five stars. The drinks were great too. I am definitely going back. Looking forward for the next pasta dish.
They advertised the cheese wheel for dinner tonight- made a reservation for 14 people. It is only me that wanted the cheese wheel and I talked about it for 2 days. After waiting for my entire table to get served , a plate of warm pasta finally came out to me already made. No table side experience- nothing. I complained- and the staff just laughed it off. “ oh the chef made it at the wrong table”. So someone else got the benefit of watching my pasta get made, I received it cold and was still expected to pay for it. Yes- even after complaining- there it was on our tab. You messed up my order and made no effort to make it right. So incredibly disappointing and embarrassing- it was the first time there for several of our 14 party table. I feel foolish for talking the experience up so much.
Delicious food with vegan options
Love the variety of pre-made slices. Quick, inexpensive and delicious lunch.
Only had pizza there, but there chicken wing pizza is excellent
Was served burnt pepperoni roll n mushrooms tasted like rubber, worse pizza I've had
A lot of good vegan pizza options. Probably the best vegan Sicilian pizza ever!
Pizza is always good. Priced more than goh average Pizza, but you're not getting average food. Order online is the easiest, full menu online. Lots of parking.
Nestled in the heart of the city, Basilicos presents itself as a cozy haven for pizza lovers, attracting both locals and tourists with its gourmet offerings. I recently had the pleasure of trying two plain slices at this delightful Italian eatery, and I must say, my experience was overwhelmingly positive.
The first thing that struck me was the inviting ambiance of Basilicos. With its rustic decor and warm lighting, the restaurant creates a welcoming atmosphere that feels both casual and refined. It's an ideal spot for a quick bite or a leisurely meal with friends and family.
Now, onto the main event—the pizza. I opted for two plain slices, and they did not disappoint. The crust was perfectly baked, offering a delightful balance of crispiness on the outside and a chewy texture on the inside. However, it was the sauce and cheese that truly stole the show. The marinara was rich and flavorful, with a slightly sweet undertone that complemented the tartness of the tomatoes beautifully. The cheese was incredibly luscious, melting perfectly and providing a creamy backdrop to the vibrant sauce. Each bite was a harmonious blend of taste and texture, showcasing the high-quality ingredients Basilicos is known for.
While the taste was exceptional, the price of $7.95 for just two plain slices felt a bit on the higher side. However, considering the gourmet touch and the impeccable quality of the ingredients used, I found the price to be justifiable. It’s clear that Basilicos prioritizes artistry in their pizza-making, and sometimes that comes with a premium.
In conclusion, I would highly recommend Basilicos to anyone in search of gourmet pizza. The combination of top-notch ingredients and the cozy atmosphere makes it worth a visit, even if the price point is a bit elevated. For those who appreciate the finer things in pizza, Basilicos is undoubtedly a place to satisfy your cravings. I look forward to going back and exploring more of their menu!
Overpriced for location

Food was OK for area but WAY overpriced!!
Guy is Charging NYC prices in Dickson City.
Much Better Value in the area. Won’t Go Back.
Not worth what they charge, Margherita pizza wasn’t good. Lots of teens working there, this place used to be great
Basilico's was a bit underwhelming. Came with my GF and her son for dinner.
Arancini: large, good by all accounts.
Chicken Parm: large portion, under-seasoned, chicken was soggy and effectually steamed. Side of pasta: tepid, bland sauce was separating, watery. Could do much better at home.
Stromboli: served really close to burnt. The boy didn't want to return it, however.
Service: young server was a bit too familiar with his parlance, but maybe this is a personal preference. A near-comical number of people checking to ask about water needs.
Atmosphere: Nice for a strip-mall, but music was loud for dinner and there are obvious patches on some of the walls, etc.
Overall, far too expensive to be putting out that much mediocre food. Save your cash and make it at home.
I ordered a lg specialty pizza for a pick up. The pizza tasted good but was badly disappointed in the crust. The limpy slices were very difficult to hold as well as wet. The under crust was still very doughy. I would more than likely go someplace else if I’m ever in the area again.
I’m from NY here for studies and I have tried 20+ pizzas near the area to find the most home feeling (NY) regular pie. Took me a while but I would say I found some of the best pizza I have personally ever had. This pizza is absolutely phenomenal and I really can’t complain about the portion to price ratio. Truly unbelievable and I’d recommend anyone to come here. One of my favorite places been here a couple times and have recommended it to multiple people.
