“Six stars as usual. Had a group of men in from doing line repair in the area. Our waitress was amazing. The meals are always the best and the atmosphere is great. My favorite place to eat cans at the consistency is always there.”
“First time stopping by and the staff was very friendly and helpful! Clean restaurant and roomy considering the location.I ordered tostones rellenos, empanadillas and mixed rice to go. All were very tasty but especially the chicken and beef empanadillas!!! The chicken one even had some sliced peppers inside so that was a nice surprise. Can’t wait to go back and try something new and dine in. Large menu with tons of offerings.”
“Stopped off the highway on the way home from a road trip. The S.O. was born in the area and his uncle is friends with the owner and his cousin had worked there growing up, so we wanted to give the support. Great little unassuming spot. Grabbed seats at the bar. Drinks were perfect. Had the cappelletti to start-cant find those in central NY so that was a special treat. Tuna melt special for me hit the spot. If only we lived closer, this would be a regular spot for us.”
“Bit of a wait, as expected on a Friday night, but the pizza is so worth it! We had The Sophia Loren, the Vidka pizza and the Blanco...all 3 were amazing. Great service as ”
“The new wing is complete, and overall it's nice. Better parking, room appointments, etc. Seems like a slightly farther walk to the casino and the old elevators must be presently out of service. Staff needed to ride with guests or wait (I let them ride with me). The toilet paper holder in my room was broken, but despite numerous efforts to point out the fact to housekeeping, the holder was returned to the broken position.”
“I dont know what the negative reviews are talking about. My husband said this was the most enjoyable restaurant experience he's ever had. The atmosphere is very elegant, the service is on point, and the food was delicious and perfectly cooked. Will be coming back!”
“Penn State fans, celebrate! This spot captures the essence of being on campus, blending the charm of a neighborhood bar with a gathering place for fellow PSU enthusiasts. With its great event space, laid-back bar atmosphere, tasty food, and excellent drink choices, it’s like a piece of Happy Valley right here in Dickson City. Cheers.?”
“We order from here at least once a week from our retail store. The food is always phenomena, the service is always fast and polite. In an economy where everything is so expensive, they have remained very affordable!”
“The food is absolutely delicious and done fresh with care everyday! I that’s the best way to nourish yourself! Local and fresh ingredients! I really wish they have dine in option too!”
“Always delicious and always fresh and so good Dwayne the owner has a nice selection of fresh baked goods to choose from always I love the red linzer tart cookies ?”
“spiderman tried a cheesesteak! it was the best he has ever had and will definitely be coming back:) the employees were so sweet and gave him an outstanding experience, 10/10 would recommend stopping here whenever you’re feeling hungry!”
“We ate in the back room which has an intimate, upscale decor. The menu is very varied for anyone's taste. I can honestly recommend anything on the menu. An attractive bar area, good service and reasonable prices makes this a must visit.”
“I like to see things as they are, and judge based purely on the food. And this place has it. It's a greasy mess, and nothing wrong with that. A popular opinion is that the food is too expensive, but to me, you get what you pay for, and in this case, it's a good thing.I don't get how an unseasoned burger can taste so good, it purely has to be the sheer quality of the beef and toppings. This is one of the ultimate guilty pleasure meals, in every way. The fries aren't crispy, they're soft and soggy. Yet absolutely delicious. No toasted buns here, a completely soft and wet burger, but damned if it isn't delicious.Cooked fresh to order is always a plus to any establishment, especially when done in plain view. Always adore any place that has nothing to hide. Is the food expensive for what it is? Maybe. Would I get this when craving a greasy burger? Much more than any typical fast food, or diner fare. Not often that I do, but I'd easily come back here whenever I crave a burger again.”
“I had Primo's all the time in Philly and was super excited when the Dickson City location opened. However, this location was never quite up to par with all others.New ownership recently took over and my sandwich today was the top quality I had come to expect from Primo's. I'll be back - a lot!”
“Suffice it to say there were many Indian patrons there! I point this out as an indication of acceptable food preparation from those that have better reference than me.But let me give you Gringo Rob's perspective... The food was delicious! Seemed of good quality, very flavorful, and chicken was cooked perfectly. Girl at counter was nice and helpful and the owner was cordial. Good experience and we would definitely go back. Some things that kinda bothered me as follows. There was gross lack of atmosphere. Yes, an enticing aroma greets you when you walk in but it ends there. Décor is low budget, the place looks like a recycled strip mall front (which it is), few lamps were added but bright high hats remain and the place is too clinical. I don't recall if there was even background Indian music playing.Food is served in cardboard dishes which get soggy, deform and absorb the yummy sauces. Sorry, I would sacrifice the environment for another lick of the sauce! And a big pet peeve with this place and others in general (yes, I know this is common practice now) is that after I stand in line and place my order and go to pay the point of sale device gives me options for a tip (with the girl staring at me as I have to make a decision). I hate this! I have not yet tasted the food. I have not yet experienced any service. This is not a tip at all. This is simply a strong arm technique to extract more revenue. Just raise the prices and dont do this! But the chicken tikka was yummy. And the chicken curry was yummy. Ooh, and the garlic naan was soo good. And I am old and grumpy. So I will go back and I encourage all to try this place! And if the owner reads this, think about the décor and cardboard pates and see what you can do.By the way, I did cave and gave 18% tip at the register when I paid. And to my surprise, the girl said 'thank you' - I think the first time the POS tip was ever acknowledged at any of the many places that I have been to that do this! Kudos to the young lady!”
