“Mafalda's has genuine, home made Italian specialties like ravioli and cappeletti and several other delicacies. They also have home made sauces and a great selection of other Italian foods.”
“Was there for APA league last night atmosphere was very chill bartender was friendly service was quick and the pool table is pretty good all around it was nice for a change to play at a different location it's a pretty chill dive bar I say will definitely be coming back if I'm in the area ???”
“First time here for breakfast and had a wonderful experience. Friendly service, cinnamon bun pancakes were amazing, as well as breakfast sandwiches and home fries. Found out they are moving soon , but we look forward to following them to their new place. Prices were very reasonable too.”
“The greatest pasta in the USA!! I'm full blooded Italian. I have to say that nothing or no one can compare to Petrinis pasta in Jessup, Pa!!! I live in Lancaster, Pa and I drive 3 hours (1 way) with 2 very large empty coolers to have them filled up to drive another 3 hours to get home! Absolutely worth the trip!!!! Thank you to Beverly and Aunt Rita Patrini!!! You are the best!!”
“Its a very small but long standing Chinese food restaurant. Has capacity for 10 max sitting. But take out is great. Discovered this place in 1995. Best Chinese food ”
“Took the plunge and ordered 50 jumbo wings tonight. Very good!!! And somehow we didn't finish them. Definitely, reccomend, and can't wait to try more!!”
“If my wife and I have been going there almost forever would love the wieners the steak and cheese and my wife's favorite the turkey club their homemade macaroni is unbelievable you got to try to macaroni with tuna fish when available wow”
“I highly recommend reservations! 5 of us returning on a road trip stopped and walked in. Wait staff asked if we had reservations, we did not. When we arrived we were about the only ones there, just before 1800. Within minutes it started filling, when we left there appeard to be people waiting for our table. Homemade pastas, rich sauces, good sausage and meatballs. Great staff. Nice! If you can get in, it's real good.”
“By far one of the best food and service I have had in a long time...scallops and veal was outstanding. Martini's made by Wayne were out of this world!Try the chocolate expresso Martini....liquid love!!!”
“Just some exceptional food and staff at nice local spot. I highly recommend the buffalo chicken roll. Great prices and can easily make a nice family meal or take out for one.”
“Had an amazing experience at Anthony's! My family of 5 came in today on a roadtrip from Florida to Vermont and got a large variety of foods. I got breakfast, but the table also got burgers, pizza, and even wings! Speaking of which, the wings were possibly the best wings my family has ever had, and it's a shame we don't live in the area to have them more often. The pancakes had a homecooked taste to them and the chocolate chips were simply decadent. It's a family owned restaurant, so the food took a bit, but it was well worth the wait. Thank you for an amazing experience, we will definitely be repeat customers next time we are in town. :)”
“This was my first time back since new management turned a good bar into a GREAT BAR - the 1905 Tavern!!! Only had “Hot Caesar” wings which were great and a couple Outlaw beers!?? Can’t wait to come back and try other things on the menu because they all look delicious! Bartenders & other patrons were all friendly! Reasonable prices! Overall, a great, fun night!”
“We first heard of Chef Von through Next Level Chef. We stopped today as we passed through Scranton. We had the new hangover smash burger which was off the charts. Everyone was super friendly, food was amazing and we even got to briefly met Chef Von. Highly recommended. Get there before he wins next level and you won’t be able to get a seat.”
“my wife and I stopped today to get a smoothie and we are glad we did!!! I had a strawberry and mango smoothie and my wife had a chocolate and peanut butter smoothie. Both were phenomenal and we will definitely be back to try other smoothie combinations!!!”
“Suffice it to say there were many Indian patrons there! I point this out as an indication of acceptable food preparation from those that have better reference than me.But let me give you Gringo Rob's perspective... The food was delicious! Seemed of good quality, very flavorful, and chicken was cooked perfectly. Girl at counter was nice and helpful and the owner was cordial. Good experience and we would definitely go back. Some things that kinda bothered me as follows. There was gross lack of atmosphere. Yes, an enticing aroma greets you when you walk in but it ends there. Décor is low budget, the place looks like a recycled strip mall front (which it is), few lamps were added but bright high hats remain and the place is too clinical. I don't recall if there was even background Indian music playing.Food is served in cardboard dishes which get soggy, deform and absorb the yummy sauces. Sorry, I would sacrifice the environment for another lick of the sauce! And a big pet peeve with this place and others in general (yes, I know this is common practice now) is that after I stand in line and place my order and go to pay the point of sale device gives me options for a tip (with the girl staring at me as I have to make a decision). I hate this! I have not yet tasted the food. I have not yet experienced any service. This is not a tip at all. This is simply a strong arm technique to extract more revenue. Just raise the prices and dont do this! But the chicken tikka was yummy. And the chicken curry was yummy. Ooh, and the garlic naan was soo good. And I am old and grumpy. So I will go back and I encourage all to try this place! And if the owner reads this, think about the décor and cardboard pates and see what you can do.By the way, I did cave and gave 18% tip at the register when I paid. And to my surprise, the girl said 'thank you' - I think the first time the POS tip was ever acknowledged at any of the many places that I have been to that do this! Kudos to the young lady!”
“Great Jewish Delicatessen. Love the Tuna Melts and potato pancakes with apple sauce. I have had many selections and all the food is made fresh. Excellent dishes”
“Great food. Friendly service. Can't go wrong grabbing a bite to eat here.Wheelchair accessibility: not wheel chair accessible but, I'm sure if you call ahead they would ring your food out to you to go.”
“My first time there today and Sara is amazing! I love the atmosphere and all the vintage merchandise. I had the Pistachio peep latte and loved it! I will definitely be going back! ❤️❤️❤️❤️”
“This is a hidden little treasure in NEPA. The food is absolutely amazing - everything from the avocado egg sandwiches to the grilled cheese to the coffee cake muffins! YUM & the coffee is delicious! The staff is so personable and easy going and the entire atmosphere of the shop is relaxing. We go in there and spend hours chatting and eating and drinking. SUPER CUTE SPOT highly recommend A++++++”
“Amazing vegan food! I love the desserts and I'm not even a sweets person. Her teas are amazing. She really adds a spice of love to her food. The salad is my favorite and the spicy mushroom tacos.Vegetarian options: Vegan & vegetarian”
“This was the first time for me. I was here with a group of friends. We came here for dinner, which was good and reasonably priced. While there, I also noticed many people picking up orders. The service was also good. I would recommend this place.”
“Dutchies is AWESOME! Great food, great people, great atmosphere! They genuinely care about the community and their customers! 10/10 experience, look forward to going back!”
“Always a win at Minooka! I’ve ordered pies and cakes for special occasions, and I’ve also dropped in for last-minute sweets from the display. Family and friends always compliment their desserts, and it has saved me tons of time with their easy online ordering. Their key lime pie has become a birthday tradition for my family, and the strawberry cake will probably be my daughter’s favorite birthday cake ever. The customer service is top notch, even on their busiest days like Pi Day and pickup for thanksgiving orders. My only suggestion would be to have a separate line for desserts ordered ahead on those busy days. I hope minooka continues to enjoy many more years of success with their delicious food and friendly service!Dietary restrictions: They have a designated gluten free freezer case with a great variety of desserts and breads. I’ve ordered gluten free cupcakes for a school party, and the teacher was impressed with how delicious they were!”
“Good food and friendly staff. I have a gluten allergy and they had lots of options. Didn't get sick so no cross contamination which is a plus!Dietary restrictions: They hada good selection of gluten free and vegan dishes.Kid-friendliness: We had a large party including my 15 month old granddaughter. The staff was friendly and accommodated us with no problems.”
“Nice place to go with kids, they loved the ice cream so much they ate everything!!! The ladies were friendly I will definitely come back for more. Also priced right. My oldest got some chocolate milk and said it was the best one he ever had. I couldn’t help but notice the map they have on the wall which I think is really cool you would be surprised people from around the world been there.”
“3 Jack's is tops!! Best of the Best. Atmosphere and environment is more than "comfort food" on the menu. But be careful, you'll leave planning your next family gathering here. I can't explain it, you need to experience it.Kid-friendliness: It's definitely a family gathering, place.”
“Owners are awesome, as are most of the staff. The food is fantastic, high quality and priced right. Always a band or dj in the weekends. Late night crowd is a little questionable. Would absolutely recommend.”
“Small city ice cream shop awesome ice cream awesome staff and atmosphere it is just the perfect place to go with family when in the mood for a nice sweet treat 5 stars!”
“This is a place I never knew existed to my knowledge. Secret I delivered pizz to an apartment across the street I did not know what it was. The service top notch, the breakfast I hat was excellent and well made and the atmosphere is a Diner but well maintained and attractive. Look it up on Google maps or how ever you do that, but go there once and I know you'll be back. Oh some times a bit of a wait but generally quick seating and they have a parking lot .Parking: L shape parking around the Diner and in the street!Kid-friendliness: Well I saw kids there. Lol”
“Good stuff! Very much enjoyed and I'm not a breakfast guy. I will be back because we are in the area for youth sports and have a place we all enjoyed!Glad we stopped and tried it out!”
