We got to-go and we did wait a bit but the food was fantastic I can't wait to eat at the restaurant. We go back often and it is fantastic every time.

We exited the highway because there were quite a few options on the food sign, but as soon as we saw La Tonaltecha we skipped Denny's and Perkin's! Great food! I had the carnitas burrito and my hubby had the steak fajitas from the lunch menu which were perfectly portioned and priced. We also polished off a basket of house made chips and salsa. Yum! The service was great. They have a bar, but we didn't get cocktails since we were in transit.

Since La Tolteca burned down, this has been my go-to for decent margharitas and excellent Mexican food. Worth the additional 20 miles. Highly recommend the Molcajete Mexicano.

2nd time ive been. Its just food. Not bad, but im not itching to go back either. Im giving 4 rather than 3 stars because my bestie neighbor and her husband drive clear across to the next county to eat there weekly.

The bartender was rude and very short with us. She was upset when I asked for a 2nd drink. She then had 3 other wait staff wait on us and never approached us again. Must have been having a bad day and took it out on us. Haven't had someone that rude ever wait on us before.

My favorite Mexican restaurant in the area. I am the only vegetarian in the family. Others particularly enjoy the chorizo queso dip. The guac used to be better - not liking the new recipe. I always get the vegetarian al trio plate. Fantastic meal. The frozen drinks are fabulous too. My sons like the fried ice cream - one is enough for two people!
