I truly HATE to leave a negative review for a local small business, but the food was pretty bad. I ordered an Italian sandwich which didn't smell very appetizing and tastes about the same.
I wish I could post a picture of the meat because it did not look healthy at all.
This is a great place providing a great service to the community, but I know it's important receive negative feedback in order to fix a problem. I truly hope they start getting some fresher food!

Great ice cream flavors, milk shakes and limited sandwiches. They have gluten free and dairy free ice cream options and it is clearly marked. Staff is friendly and helpful. Store is clean and very cute.

If I could leave 0 stars I would. The portion size and customer service has diminished since new management. The owners are liars and disrespect their employees. Do not support this business!

There is a big problem here... Every time I go, I keep getting the same thing because it is so good. Yes, everyone else gets other items and other flavors and and I get other food sometimes, but the ube brownie ice cream is the REASON I go.
Their sandwiches are fantastic, their customer service is just as good. And yes, dessert at any point of the day is an option. Don't be worried about the outside look, or the loud"ish" location.
The inside is warm, sweet and inviting... Just like the Ube Brownie ice cream.

It's a cute place. Selections of ice cream are pretty standard. The staff was nice. Seating outside was adequate. All in all, not a bad place, but nothing that really stood out from other local ice cream shops.

It seemed like they had a nice selection, including dairy free and gluten free flavors. but no ingredient/allergen lists were available for the ice cream flavors. We left empty-handed disappointed. (Plz provide allergen info! It’s not super difficult to do and it really helps clients with specific dietary restrictions and allergies.)
I want to edit my review (7/2024) to say this: the place closed to restaff but I've never seen any adults working. Food safety standards were not great the last time we were there. Not everyone was wearing head coverings for loose hair, which was inches from the ice cream. Also, one of the scoopers wasn't wearing gloves and grabbed our waffle bowl with her hand after scratching her face. All of these issues can be fixed and I hope that they get someone serious about serve safe standards.
Quaint ice cream shoppe with outdoor seating. Similarity priced to Sarah's Creamery or Urban Churn with similar vibes. Delicious, fresh waffle cones! I had the Ube brownie flavor - highly recommended! We will be back to try coffee and have more ice cream!
Stopped here on a whim when traveling through the state and happened to pass by. This place is amazing! It quite literally is my dream -- ice cream, boba tea, alai bowls, espresso, and a good food menu as well! All the best things in life. The ube brownie ice cream was one of the tastiest ice creams I've ever had! Can you all open a franchise in Virginia!? take all my money !!

Just stopped by here today for the first time. A shout out to Lexi who took good care of us. The ice cream was great too.

I took my daughters and niece in this afternoon, and we are hooked! The ice cream was exceptional, as was the cinnamon bun. My kids can be a handful, but the ladies working the counter were so patient with them. I’m not sure if the nice woman we sat next to was a manager or an owner, but she answered all our myriad of questions and let my children distract her while she worked. We felt so welcome and cannot wait to come back with our family and friends.

Best ice cream in the area!
No service. Closed an hour early all while DQ had a line out the door.
