“This is one of those local, hole in the wall places that you just love to go to. Usually everyone is very welcoming and just looking to grab a few beers after a tough day at work. Their homemade food is always enjoyable, and the crowd is usually entertaining to say the least. It's a staple of Pottstown and has been around since they hay days of the steel industry. The bar tenders are always on point.“

“First time we ever ate there. We had filet tips sautéed in mushrooms and onions (delicious and so tender) Potato filling , broccoli in oil ,garlic,and seasoning and salad. Lydia was our waitress ….best ,fastest, and most personable I think I ever had.Will be going there again!“

“China Bar is the best little Chinese bar I’ve ever been in thus far. The food is actually top notch which is why you can never judge a book by it’s cover. Beer prices are good. Chew needs to lower those liquor prices a little bit. All in all, it’s a nice quiet little bar.“

“Great burgers and they leave you alone and don't bother you or ask you a million questions it is non smoking now which is not that cool by me and I don't know what we plastic partitions at the bar are made of yet it is reminiscent of the Red Light District peep shows of pre wall taken down East Berlin real nice touch its warm and the burgers are the bomb. Get the California Burger and a pint of Rolling Rock you are good to go.“

“The food is delicious, their cocktails are amazing, & the staff are always friendly. I definitely recommend the Cowboy Pork Chop when they have it as a weekly special. It was the best pork chop we’ve ever had! The stewed tomatoes are also really good & I don’t even “love” tomatoesz“
“First time diners and we'll be back. First time also in quaint hidden-away St. Peters Village. Early Tuesday dinner in their indoor dining room led to some very nice private and attentive service by excellent server Debby. We enjoyed expertly crafted cocktails, steamed mussels, fresh garden salads and entrees of Salmon+Crab Oscar and Steak Gorgonzola Pasta. Varied and excellent menu choices, could have chosen many other appealing offerings and hope to on future visits!“

“Great food and absolutely great service. So friendly and attentive. We WILL be back! Party of 6. Apps were very good and included the raw oysters; oyster app and coconut shrimp. Dinners included Blackened Salmon; Salmon Tacos; Burger and special of the day - Barbecue Ribs. They were complimented with fresh veggies that were really different, fresh and yum. Bought a birthday cake. A little expensive but my, it was spectacular! We will be back“

“Had a wonderful dinner at Stave and Stable tonight with my husband. Adorable and classy…we shared a salad with goat cheese and a wonderful balsamic dressing…I had an amazing tender filet and my husband the salmon..and my birthday cheesecake dessert with a cup of espresso…our server Gwen was so attentive and professional…all around a great night! Highly recommended“

“Been visiting here for many years now. The atmosphere here is great, barmaids are incredible, 3 pool tables with enough room to play! And they are pet friendly too! There's always room (and treats and water) for any 4 legged friend there. They are greeted and treated just like any other customer. Plenty of parking and the food is very good as well and available most of their operating hours.“
