“Love Smittie’s Soft Pretzels! Used to get them from roadside vendors or at William’s Grove flea market. Now we go right to the source. Always nice folks working there and pretzel products are FRESH!“

“A York GEM! Whenever I have any friends from out of town visit, this is a spot I take them too. Located in downtown york right off the main road on Philadelphia Street it is a perfect location! There are 2 floors of nick nacks, TONS of board games, craft table for kids, couches, clothes, paintings and an outside area! the best part is truly the warm/cold drinks and the FOOD! The food surpasses it being just another coffee shop, this place is LGBTQ friendly has well :). Will be back!“

“If I could give this place six stars, I would. My friend brought me here one time to get coffee and tea on our way into work, and I keep going back. Her prices are incredibly reasonable, the drinks are all delicious, the bakery items are great.“

“Although I didn't dine at Roosevelt Tavern as a regular guest, I gave it five stars based on the food served at a wedding reception I attended there. The reception menu was impressive—the beef dish received rave reviews from my tablemate, and even though I don’t eat beef, I thoroughly enjoyed the chicken, salad, and mashed potatoes. Everything was delicious! The restaurant's ambiance was comfortable, and it seamlessly accommodated over 50 guests for the event. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and I highly recommend Roosevelt Tavern.
Parking: Free parking lot with ample parking.“

“What a great find! Hole-in-the-wall bar feel and I mean that with all the admiration and love. Food was bar food style - we had the burger with Gouda (Gooey Gouda Burger) and cheese curds and tried several beers out of the thirty they had on tap. Shayne was our sever and what a great young man. Awesome personality and efficient. Checked on us just enough to make sure we had everything we needed. We had four different beers from different breweries around the country and I ended my evening with a pumpkin spice martini (Holy cow! DELICIOUS!) over all - fantastic bar experience! Casual dining and casual attire required. Definitely would visit here again!“

“Had a very nice brunch. Food was slightly under seasoned. It was a Halloween bar crawl so it also took a little more time than usual for the food to arrive. But overall still a good brunch and good service.

“If I am in the area, I always stop at Sarah's Creamery. My son graduated from Penn State, and we got hooked on Penn State Ice Cream. Sarah's is the only place I know that has Penn State Ice Cream other than Penn State! My favorite is "Peachy Paterno"! I stopped in Sarah's Creamery today and got my Peachy Paterno Ice cream cone. It's the best treat ever! If you are ever in the area, you must stop in Sarah's Creamery and try the Penn State Ice Cream!“
