I have eaten here numerous times but this is the first time that I was not satisfied. It was my wife’s birthday and I reserved a table for ten. Usually when we have large parties we are upstairs but I believe this night they had it reserved for a private event. The table we had was in a tight corner where the server had to pass things down. Also, when my party arrived it was over ten minutes before we got a server, and this was only after we asked another server where our server was. There was also a drink issue that I will not get into. The food was just above average. I hope that this was just a bad night for the restaurant. I do plan on eating there again.

I ordered the seafood Rosotto. The mussels and clams were very small. I would pay more for a meal that had nice size seafood. I will stick to their pizza.

As a Downingtown local, Anthony’s is a staple go to spot! The food is always great and there’s a good amount of options on the menu. On the weekends at peak times the service can slow a little and atmosphere has been iffy once or twice as tables are moved around and finagled to make room for more patrons. Both totally understandable. Would recommend a reservation if going for dinner on a weekend for sure!

Food and drink excellent. Had chicken Piccata and classic Mojito. Both hit the spot.

Lovely little family owned establishment in my hometown! The food is handmade and yummy. The staff are friendly and kind. Knowledgeable of the menu. The decor is beautiful. Wonderful place to grab a bite overall!Pictured is linguine with rose sauce. My suggestion is any of their pasta dishes. If you’re tight this month, they have a build your own pasta for $16.50. The stuffed fig appetizer is also to die for.Sorry I forgot to take a pic before I took a bite- I couldn’t wait! It was perfectly presented before that!P.s. thank you to my server Alex from 6 pm on 04/01/24. She was wonderful, and offered me a warm welcome.Vegetarian options: There are numerous pasta options that are vegetarian. They are also able to cook some off-menu items for picky eaters, from what I gathered. They seem to want to work around vegetarian restrictions, which is nice.Parking: About 50-100 spots for free behind the restaurant.Wheelchair accessibility: There is wheelchair accessibility to this establishment, but it is somewhat limited by its location. The ramp walkway to access the restaurant is slightly uphill. The parking lot is a fair distance from the front door. Ideally, make sure there is someone able bodied to wheel the person up to the door. There is one bathroom that can be accessed via wheelchair, as there other one is too small for transport in and out of a chair. The tables themselves may be too low for wheelchair users.

First of all Danielle is an exceptional server! She made our already great experience better. This place has great food and great prices, it’s cheaper than the other Italian joint down the street and twice as good! Everything was fresh, abundant and filling! You won’t leave hungry or wanting more. The homemade pasta is a must, so is the fig appetizer. We just found out new favorite spot in town and isn’t nearly the most expensive! Best service in town too. P

I’d say the food was subpar and nothing spectacular. It was very loud in the dining area and felt over crowded. What bothered us the most was the child that was serving as the food runner kept it pressed against his shirt and stomach. Causing his body to touch the food. I watched it multiple times and wasn’t pleased. I’ll still with ordering pizza for delivery.

Our server Bryan did a great job. Very enthusiastic and personable. Food could have used more garlic - flavor was 'meh'. We're Italian restaurant veterans of Trattoria Giuseppe and Fellini's - we'll give Anthony's another try in the future regardless of this experience.
