Chelsea's Tavern has everything you would want out of a local town bar. Tv's for games, great bourbon/whiskey/beer selections, great staff and people. Great place to escape for a few hours and converse (or not).

If you like dive bars this is the place for you. I mean that in a good way, too. I'm well past my bar phase but some friends and I went out for my birthday a few years ago. I had never been here before despite growing up in the area and spending lots of time in town. I can't personally comment on the food (honestly I don't know they even serve food).The bartenders were really friendly and quick to notice when we were ready for another drink, even gave me a free one for it being my birthday (I had just turned 35 and was pretty surprised when they gave me a whole glass of bourbon rather than just a shot). We went on a Saturday night around 8 and it started getting loud and cramped quickly after we got our second round of drinks but overall it was a cool little spot.

For context: if you don't frequent the spot it may be a bit chaotic. Their ciders are good, and I'll drove an hour just for that drink. It's a good spot.

Since they banned indoor smoking and added a back patio this is the best bar in town.

No frills dive bar. We need more of them in this world. Great priced pours and brews. Will definitely come back. Watch a game, drink and enjoy. They're doing everything right by not trying too hard.
