The food is not horrible, but just not good. , Coming from Texas we had higher expectations for the price as this is far more expensive than very good restaurants in Texas. One major issue is that we requested to not have cilantro as we have family that are allergic and the food came with cilantro. Disappointed. Not exactly the most flavorful food and ignoring the request to not have cilantro leads me to say I would not recommend and will not be going back.

The food was amazing! I love the birra tacos and my boyfriend always gets the wet burrito. He also loves the tamales and the churros are perfect to finish with. They did forget our soda but after going back they were super nice! Highly recommend the pineapple Fanta. I would love to sit down next time we get it!

Couldn't believe that we can find some decent Mexican food in Downingtown! Authentic food and fair prices - the waiter kind of recognizes our family because we visit frequently. So the service is always good! Parking can be an issue, but it's worth it!

Great food, they are working out the kinks for the service. They have a hard time keeping hand soap in the bathroom I recommend the Al Pastor tacos which are about $3 each.

Enchiladas Roja. The Roja tastes like campbells tomato soup with a dash of cayenne. No color on the tortillas. Certainly seems like they were just rolled up and had some sauce thrown on top. No sign of them being baked. No melted cheesy goodness on top. Truly disappointing. The girlfriend seems to like her her tacos luckily

Food was very good, prices were fair and the restaurant was clean, but the service took way too long, especially considering we were the only patrons. Also felt ji d of weird that the place was conpletely quiet, no music or anything, just strange. Our server was kind, but unattentive, and never even asked us if we wanted our drinks refilled, or if we wanted more chips. Just not the best experience. I would order take out for sure.

I tried Taco Mar across the street and their Mexican rice tastes like white rice with sazon so stick with El Limon if you're looking for an authentic taste. Also liked that the shrimp quesadilla came with toppings. Cheese and shrimp just aren't good without some additional flavor.
