In terms of Five Guys, this is one of the nicer locations I have been to. The staff was super communicative and friendly, as well as quick to correct an issue with a sandwich missing from my order. Would definitely recommend this spot if you’re in the mood for a good burger and tons of fries!

Very good burger ? but very pricey friendly staff could do a better job cleaning
The burger was good but the roll was soggy from the mushrooms, which was unappetizing. The French fries were plentiful, hot and excellent. The soda machine was dirty and splattered with dried soda spray, really gross and to add insult to injury I got to pay full price for a flavor I did not want because they were out of coke(!) and the Dr. Pepper mix was too watery and undrinkable. For $18+ dollars, not worth it.

TL;DR: I visit 5 Guys @ work in Newark, DE weekly - and both food and service are 5 star. DO NOT ORDER DELIVERY FROM HERE. You will be overcharged and will likely fail to receive your food as I did.WFH today and decided to try online ordering and thus far I'm beyond disappointed. Unable to process order on 5 Guys website at this location "because my order won't be ready in time" (Note: Ordering at 6:30PM, closes at 10PM" so I had to use another service regrettably. Similar error with Grubhub and ActiveMenus was literally my only option. A $32 order came out to nearly $70 thanks to the incompetent management of 1st party online ordering.To make matters worse, this ActiveMenus didn't deliver my food, didn't contact me and unless I manage to get a refund I'm out nearly $70 thanks to your failure to keep 1st party delivery active and choosing to contract with a clearly unreliable dealer.

A guy I used to work with called these burgers 'grease pucks' and he was totally right. Hands down the greasiest burger I've ever had, it was basically a sloppy joe without the flavor. The patty barely stayed together as I ate it and the fries were nothing to write home about. You can get a better burger at Wawa for less money (though I don't recommend it, there's plenty of local places to get much better food that's worth eating.)

Incredibly disappointing!For the price I paid for the burger and fries I was expecting good quality but was I wrong. I'd rather have McDonald's.The burger is bland and on the smaller side. The fries have a slightly burnt taste and were soft even though we ate there. I can't even give the excuse that they could have gotten soggy because of the drive home or anything because we ate them fresh.We also had to eat with a screaming kid behind us the entire time which I know isn't their fault but still ruined the time there.Freddy's is a million times better and cheaper. Just go to Freddy's!
Putting this here and hopefully someone in management will see it. PLEASE BLANCH YOUR FRIES!! TIRED OF GETTING RAW FRENCH FRIES!!! Soggy, raw, not cooked in the center French fries.

I’ve ordered the same thing in other five guys, great! Here it was awful I asked for a cheese burger with mushrooms they added cold mushrooms from a can they didn’t even drop them on the flat they just threw them cold on the burger and added the pattys. In other five guys they always throw the mushrooms on the flat. Plus my burger was cold mushy and disgusting never will I come back.

Staff was pleasant and appeared interested in working. The place was clean, and the self serve soda was working with most flavors available. I ordered a double burger with mushrooms and onions. The entire thing was a slimy mess. The burgers were broken into 3-4 pieces each. The bun was smashed and gooey with grease. I attempted to add ketchup and gave up because they entire thing fell to mush when I tried to remove the top bun. I managed to shovel in a few bites and then gave up. My arteries were thankful.
