Handel’s Homemade Ice Cream

I got the 4 to go... walked out with a cone of a 5th... I didn't feel judged at all! My interest was appreciated by the staff! Mrs Carol did story time with us and I was amazing!! Favorite flavors are banana, praline pecan, butter pecan & deep dish apple pie!!

Ice cream is always the best. We love when Carlee is working. She’s friendly, remembers our orders, fast and never skimps on toppings. The line always moves efficiently when she is there.

The only request, add Rocky Road back to the menu!

I am a ice cream nut...have had ice in almost every state in my lifetime and Handels ice cream is by far the best i have ever had. once you have their ice cream you will never want any other brand. if one is near you give them a try and I know you will not be disappointed

Shelby is absolutely amazing! She’s one of the hardest workers I’ve ever seen, and she went above and beyond to make sure my experience at the ice cream parlor was perfect. From the second I walked in, she greeted me with such a kind and welcoming attitude. She was patient while I asked about flavors, gave helpful suggestions, and even made sure everything in my order was exactly the way I wanted it.
What really stood out to me was how much care she puts into her work. She wasn’t just scooping ice cream—she was making sure every detail was right, from presentation to service, and she did it all with a smile. Even though the shop was busy, Shelby kept her cool and made sure no one felt rushed. She truly goes the extra mile for her customers.
Shelby is the kind of employee every business dreams of having—hardworking, thoughtful, and genuinely dedicated to making people happy. Thanks to her, my visit was above and beyond what I expected. I’ll definitely be coming back, and I hope Shelby is there because she makes the whole experience even sweeter!

First time at Handel’s Homemade Ice Cream and there was a bug in my ice cream. They remade it, but gross. The staff is stuck-up and fake-nice, and the place runs like a kindergarten classroom. A bug in my ice cream. Yuck!

Stop by with daughter, nice spot to eat outside. Ice cream was delicious, we had the strawberry cheesecake in waffle bowls. Will return to try thier many other flavors.

My first time at Handle’s, I struggled on what to order and what size. A very friendly and helpful cashier named Christos helped me choose my flavor and I am glad to say it was amazing! Overall very satisfied with the customer service and the ice cream quality was excellent too. 5/5 stars, would recommend and will definitely go again.
