I can't believe this is a French restaurant. Maybe for the rooftop ambience, definitely NOT for the food. I was invited b/c I was in town for my birthday weekend. I ordered the stake-frites and it was inedible. It was like they were trying so hard to please you with the oversized fries that were dripping in truffle cheese sauce. The contrast in flavors with the lukewarm rare stake was unbelievably unappetizing.

The burgers here are not good, plain and simple. I'm not sure if it's because they used a bunch of old oil on the french fries or re-cooked old burger meat, but the food was off and just plain nasty!

This place is absolutely one of the most attractive place to eat in the region. Always when I visit this place I am highly glad. They hold their high standard service and the highest level of dishes they give. You always win with this place. Warmly recommended.

As a restaurant, uncapable of providing decent service per best standard is one thing, serving its customers with bad, rotten food intentionally is another. Our dinner experience at King Buffet at Downingtown, PA belongs to the latter. The seafood (including shrimps and clams) appeared to have gone bad and, therefore, had a strong smell; fruits were rotten and tasted sour - none of us took any piece but spitted out instantly. It appeared that most, if not all, of the food being served at the time were not prepared in fresh. Sadly, neither of the two waitresses had delivered any apology even after we complained about the quality and the possible hygiene issue of their food. Rather, they claimed their food were always of high quality. However, they refused to even smell the food, let alone tasting.

Been here and the waitress is very rude. Expects a tip at the end of my meal. But never ask to refill my drink but will take your plate as your still eating to rush you out the door.. Looking at the rating everyone has the same story. The owner is one of the owners she just as rude as everyone else and she a waitress . Today I came in and saw roaches crawling all over the floor where the bathrooms are . Chester county food inspection needs to look at this buffet. I’ll never come back . Disgusting
I don’t write reviews often but today I was left no choice!!! My husband and I come here often for lunch just to be able to catch up throughout the day!!! They are always rude..... today when my husband went to pay for our meal, the server didn’t give his card back when she was supposed to. She walked away, heard the machine beeping and threw his card on the counter, couldn’t even hand it to him! Very unprofessional. In addition to this.... food isn’t always edible..... food left out way past holding times for sure. Also went to the bathroom, one toilet is coming up from the floor..... how is this appropriate? To top it off, when coming down the hall from the bathroom to leave, I saw a few roaches crawling. Needless to say, we won’t be coming back..... I will be calling the health department!!!

I don’t write reviews often but today I was left no choice!!! My husband and I come here often for lunch just to be able to catch up throughout the day!!! They are always rude..... today when my husband went to pay for our meal, the server didn’t give his card back when she was supposed to.
