I have no idea why this place had tough reviews. The ambiance and decor were charming and great for a date night, and the food was fantastic (truffle fries, ribs and pizza). The staff was friendly and warm. Our neighbors recommended Noble Goat; they'd gone 3x in 3 weekends. Glad they did! We will be back!

We had a great first experience at Noble Goat. Our friends raved about their experiences - they’ve been the past 3 weekends in a row and had wonderful things to say. The service was great - our server Luke was attentive and friendly and our food was also very good. We had:

The polenta fries with a dipping sauce
The glaze ribs with kimchi
The wedge salad
The spicy Calabrian chile and soppressata pizza

We’re delighted to have this restaurant nearby now and we’ll definitely be back!

Me and my wife just visited yesterday evening, and it left a lasting impression. The highlight was their burger, easily the best I’ve had in the area, it was juicy, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. Beyond the food, the interior was stunning, with a modern yet cozy atmosphere. I’ll definitely be returning soon!

So surprised to have a bad experience here. I was in a party of three. My meal was fine (but nothing to write home about), part of my sister’s meal was cooked incorrectly and was inedible, and my friend’s meal tasted terrible. We got the sourdough bread as a starter and it reminded me of the harsh and tangy sourdough you get in the grocery store, instead of the subtle nutty sour flavoring you get from homemade sourdough. The portions are really small. The bread was $8 and we got five pieces. On the upside the service was good and the atmosphere is great.

When we arrived, hosted desk was alone , and we waited 20 minutes and nobody came. My wife went to find someone to seating us. The level of noise is extremely loud. You Can't have a conversation with your party. Beautiful place, but is not enjoyable.

The food is a mix, I ordered a Mexican dish, the tamale was to dry and very small. The meat need to be cook longer.

I'll give another chance but definitely not on the weekend.

Absolutely love this place. We visited during their opening weekend and it was amazing. We ended up ordering a bunch of the small plates, and boy, did they not disappoint! My partner loved the octopus and I devoured the tuna. We also found the mushroom pizza to be absolutely AMAZING. But I must say the star of the show was most definitely the CHICKEN LIVER MOUSSE! I cannot rave about this dish enough. We loved it so much, we actually had gotten a second order...for dessert! I have a feeling that we will always order this dish each visit. Please never take it off your menu! We are looking forward to trying the mushroom bao buns next time!
Our server was great! We very much appreciate the complimentary wine options. And the "frankly my dear" mocktail... so delicious! My partner had gotten it while I had a glass of wine and I ended up trying a sip of the mocktail, it was so good that I had to order my own!
The décor is very well done. The tables were placed a bit close together for my liking, but what are you gonna do about that? It's a smaller venue and they're trying to serve as many patrons as possible. The food is totally worth any space grievances. Plus, having been that close to our seat neighbors actually lended itself to a more interesting dining experience for us. Quite funny hearing people discuss their (invalid) issues with their food (we had ordered some of the same dishes that they ended up complaining about).
We can't wait to visit again and are excited for their liquor license to come through as well as the announcement of their lunch hours. My partner and I love a boozy afternoon lunch!

Vegetarian options: They have a nice selection of vegetarian options including truffle, polenta fries, mushroom bao buns, tempura cauliflower, salad options, a few vegetarian pizzas and pastas. Overall, a great place to eat.

Parking: The place is at a very large apartment complex. You just need to drive past the restaurant, and further into the complex lot to find plenty of parking.

We are so happy to have a new restaurant in the area and the Noble Goat is everything we hoped it would be. A beautiful well adorned atmosphere, attentive and friendly service, and the food was outstanding. While we do like a BYOB we are looking forward to the day when this place has it's liquor license.

My parents and their close friends attempted to try The Noble Goat. Upon arrival, they called to ask where to park. They were very impolitely directed to a lot 3 blocks away. That impossibility for disabled patrons, coupled with steps to enter the establishment, ended their visit before it even began!

Been there 2 times in last week. Everything excellent, we keep trying different things. Staff very friendly. Currently a BYOB until they get licensed. The cocktails they make are excellent too.

Unfortunately not very good. While the staff is friendly, the food was underwhelming and we sent it back the first time. Highly suggest skipping the Rigatoni Genovese. It was essentially slop. Super watery and fatty meat, and VERY small portion for $26. The sourdough bread which is an $8 offering was good, but FAR too little for the price. I understand not every meal is a huge portion size, but trust me when I say these portions aren’t just small, they are tiny. The burger I got after I sent back the rigatoni was better, but nothing noteworthy. Average at best.

The tamale that comes with the Mole is inedible. My friend got the risotto and said it was the worst she ever had.

Great experience at the noble goat! We sat at the bar and had amazing services. Anthony the bartender was not only great at making espresso martinis, but a good time to talk to! The vibes and food were amazing! So excited to have this spot in the neighborhood!

So excited for Downingtown to have this lovely new restaurant. We loved everything from the atmosphere to the unique dishes which used many seasonal local ingredients which I always appreciate. The cheese board had great variety and quality. The octopus was cooked perfectly and the autumn risotto was flavorful with so much complex flavor. Ketlee (sp?) our server was friendly, attentive, and very helpful with recommendations. Can’t wait to come back :)
