We love coming here and the food is always great. My only reason for 4 stars is sometimes the staff is slow to help, bring food, drinks or take orders and on occasion things have just been outright forgotten. The staff is always very friendly and accountable though!

Food is awesome every time! Make sure you save room for desert cuz they're all worth trying. Service has been stellar as well. A must try if you're in the Downingtown area.

Asked my husband to take me there for my birthday and went early to avoid waiting as they don't take reservations. All four of us raved about our food. Loved the pear bruschetta special and my husband got the seafood Alfredo. Said it was the best Alfredo he had ever had. That's saying a lot!

This food here at Pomodoro is really delicious! This is one of our go to places. It’s always very crowded. The atmosphere is nice. It’s your typical Italian motif. The service is usually on point, we have had one server many times who whenever we’re sat in her area. I’m very disappointed. That’s the only problem I see with the service. The other servers are wonderful friendly. They don’t have time to stop and chat because they are so busy, but they do check on you!

Great food at not too bad if price! They have full dinners or you could order pizzas, steaks, hoagies. Great pastry, made on premises, but a little expensive. Often full so try to get there a little earlier then say 6 or 6.30.

My experience here made me feel like I was back in my parents’ hometown in Sicily. The food is delicious. The homemade gelato and baked goods are to die for. You can’t beat the quality and portion size … and it’s probably the cleanest restaurant in Pennsylvania. Tony, Claudia, and their entire team are world class. I can’t wait to come back. We are blessed to have this gem in our community.
