My brother and I took our Dad here on Father's Day. Wow, I am so impressed. The menu is unique, the food was out-freaking-standing and the server was constantly checking on us. I highly recommend. Wish I took photos but I was too into the flavor to think about it.

We stopped from out of town after a work trip and it was the best decision. Food, service, drinks and atmosphere were all on point. Wings with the pineapple thai chili sauce were the best I've had in a long time. Kevin Smith's twin was our server and bartender and he was amazing! Great job all around!

Delicious cheap happy hour food with good selection of draft beers & great service. Caesar salad with pistachio crusted chicken breast is a meal and the buffalo chicken egg rolls are a unique bite. There are other appetizer choices all for $5. or $6. Don’t miss this happy hour.

The honey crunch salad with grilled chicken was delicious! Beer selection could be more varied. Tables we'll spaced & many away from the bar/TV area which is conducive for conversation with old friends.

Stopped by for a beer and some light food on a Saturday about 12:30 PM. There were about 5 tables seated about 20 people total…not bad for just opening for the day. We sat at a high top in the bar area, the place was freezing cold likely the heat was off or low until they opened. Tap beer was not available due to a compressor issue so we had cocktail’s- they were good but later seen the two were $32.00! Wow. The chili was nothing special, the wings were good as was the jambalaya and corn bread.
Second time there and we will be back but cautious with prices.
Great space.

The one in West Chester is much better especially for the service. We called the Downingtown location on a Friday night at 9:15 and asked how late they serve food. They told us until 10:00 p.m.. we said we were 20 minutes away and got their exactly when we said we would and when we did they refused to serve us food and said we could only get tricks since they clean their kitchen early. Would never eat in this place again

I’ve always loved The Social in West Chester—it’s easily one of my favorite restaurants in Chester County. Unfortunately, my experience at the Downingtown location was a major disappointment.

While our server was attentive and friendly, the overall atmosphere and experience left much to be desired. One of the staff members responsible for water and table cleanup was noticeably rude, walking around with an attitude that didn’t match the restaurant’s usual vibe.

We were seated next to a group of middle-aged women who were literally screaming throughout their meal, making it impossible for my husband and me to have a conversation. While we typically enjoy live music, the combination of the noise and the chaotic environment made it far from relaxing or enjoyable.

As for the food, it didn’t live up to the high standards of the West Chester location. The stuffed wings were underwhelming both in taste and presentation—they didn’t look appetizing at all. I ordered the meatloaf, which came in a generous portion, but the meatloaf itself was dry and tough to cut. On the bright side, the mashed potatoes and cornbread were tasty, but they weren’t enough to salvage the meal.

Sadly, I won’t be returning to this location, and I can’t recommend it. If you’re looking for a great experience, stick to the West Chester spot—it’s far superior.

This place has great food but the service is horrible. We keep going back for the food but it shouldn’t take so long. The servers are terrible. The manager included. They are running out of chances. Could probably double the business with better service.
