My wife and daughter dined in while they brought home dinner for me. They had the crab cake which they loved. Said the place was great and their food was awesome. I had their chicken and waffles. Best I’ve ever had. No kidding. Great flavor and not overwhelming with syrup. Spot on. Thank you. Will be back for sure.

We fully enjoyed our experience at The Social Downingtown. Nice environment for couples, friends and families. The service was friendly and efficient. They all seem to help each other out which helps you feel like you are not forgotten. The meal was the real story though. We ordered the pirogies and garlic hummus for appetizers. The hummus had whole pieces of roasted garlic with plenty of things to dip in it. It was the perfect amount for the veggies and bread and chips. The pirogies were AMAZING! So flavorful. I would definitely recommend this appetizer. The main course did not disappoint. We ordered the crawfish jambalaya and the blackened salmon. Both were so full of flavor. The salmon was perfectly cooked. We will definitely return!

Can be inconsistent. Sometimes the food is great sometimes it’s okay. Drinks as well - today my blueberry mojito was more like a vodka water with mint. Takes a while to get food and drink if the bar is full. Good for off hours.

Good food and fine atmosphere. Was a cute place. Only downfall was the service. We sat at the bar and the bartender greeted us and was nice enough , however after that both myself and my partner would have empty cups in front of us and our bartender would walk by, look at us and walk away.. it wouldn’t be until the second or third time she asked us in a very annoyed tone if we wanted another. We checked the time to see if they were about to close and we were keeping them open, and they still had two hours before they closed for the night. It was completely ridiculous and made us not feel welcomed to come back. This was the brunette bartender who worked on 3/2 around 9:30pm

This place was really cool.. The food was so good. If your looking for some southern creole type food check this place out. Martinis where yummy,Sercice was good, place was clean and bright. Definitely another great place to eat in Downingtown. Enjoy!

Walked in today hoping to have lunch there but no one was at the door to greet or seat guests. A man walked towards me from the kitchen area, I said hello and he walked right passed me. I asked if I could sit anywhere, he mumbled something while pointing across the room and walked away. I waited another few minutes but no one came so I left.Parking: Tight parking in front of the building and difficult to back out onto Lincoln hwy.
Very very good food. Extremely happy that we found this place. Cool ambience, good food, good drinks. We had the Citrus Crush. The food suits multiple dietary preferences and the server Ty was friendly and fast. We went right at open and will definitely be back

I do not recommend this restaurant, i ordered the chicken sandwich and they did not give me fries with the sandwitch and the chicken was dry. The service was very poor. I have a visual disability and i have trouble walking and a group of young lady customers mocked me and called names to me when i could not read the menu. The young lady customers also went to the manager because of my visual disability, and the owner don said i was not allowed in the restaurant because of my disabilty. The only donnie moore and the customerd discriminate on the disabled please do not give your money to this disgusting business. Lastly the menu said my chicken sandwitch was to come with pickles and cole slaw, it did not. Please do not give your business to the social. I would give zero stars if i could with how the owner donnie moore treated me for having a disabilty

First time visiting for a fun friends night out. Didn’t want anything too crazy, just some good food and good drinks! I was blown away by the quality and flavor of these dishes. We were a bit intimidated by the menu, but intimidated in awe. We wanted to try almost everything on the menu! I had the jumbalaya, my friend had some gumbo, we had the Nola fries as the starter and some pierogies! Absolutely delicious. And our drinks were so refreshing. I’m not sure if I remember the drinks name I had but it was spicy and had a jalapeño in it, if you like unique tequila drinks, try this one. So yummy! Music and vibes were comfortable and plenty of space for you and your party to not feel compacted. Service was also very attentive and had great answers to questions about food. Definitely coming back!
