I ordered the house and added chicken to it. The chicken was awful looked like it was boiled I couldn't eat the place had no customers except for our table. The place is very dated. We ate there about 39 yrs ago was given a gift card for a wedding gift didn't like it then either.

The dining room is incredibly outdated. The food was just fine. The dining staff was great but they are up against obvious challenges.
The regulars in the bar made us uncomfortable.

Best Dinner spot i've seen in a whileIf you haven't tried Thorndale Inn you need it.If you're reading this and don't know what it is it's like a tavern but also a fancy restaurant. With a booth area, a bar, and tables with chairs to sit around.One thing I like about their menu is that they don't have a lot of options (around 50 items on the whole menu), but they are all excellent. They have a big list of appetizers, but my personal favorite—is the loaded baked potato skins as they are warm and hot when they come to you.The second thing I like about Thorndale Inn is how nice the waiters are, for example, they would give you advice on food options. Everyone who works here is friendly and helpful—they would say hello and they are very polite. They also are interactive and make it feel like you're talking to a real person instead of some random person who is just there.A third reason why you should eat here is because the food comes out fast. For example, they are so fast that you can get in and out in 30 minutes if you're quick. If you don't like to stay in public places for a long time, this is a great place to go and try out.In conclusion, This is the perfect place to eat as they have excellent food if you want to try something new. Their customer service is also on point as everyone you meet there will be nice to you and help you if you need it. Lastly, they also get your food out quickly while still keeping their high quality.

I went for dinner with a group of friendsl. The service was fine. The atmosphere was plain and dated. I had lobster bisque for an appetizer it was SOOOO salty my head started hurting. I could not eat my entree. My blood pressure was elevated. I don't even have an issue with blood pressure! I drank water. My headache was resolved after I was home. I aste the Spinach goat cheese salad. It was actually pretty good!

This is a hidden gem. I have only dined here 2x and both times the food has been fantastic!! Beautiful plate presentation, well seasoned and most importantly the food tastes great! The decor may lean towards an older crowd, but this is a wonderful place. Great staff! Nice Atmosphere! I would definitely recommend it! Looking forward to our next visit!

I enjoyed the Buffet the people were Very Hospitable I wish we could have ate there on a Much Better Day my wife's Cousin had just died and we were going to eat there. The staff was very Hospitable and caring and understanding.
