We enjoy going to 86 West. I love sushi, but my husband does not. 86 West is the perfect spot where I can still get sushi and my husband can find something he enjoys. The menu has many options such as chicken, fish, and meat dishes from flatbreads to tacos to burgers. The atmosphere is nice both inside and outside and the service is also good.

The menu online and at the restaurant were disparate. If you want to serve sushi you have to go all in. They don’t. However, for a limited menu it was ok. The bartender has to go. Oblivious! I can see why they are at 4.2 stars. Should be lower. As you can see the bar was crowded. I’m sure she was busy.

Love the sushi. Carne asada tacos were OK, but not a lot of flavor, just spicy! Service was great.Fruit flies were a problem: Couldn't eat the salad because of them.Recent visit:excellent hamburgers and fried zucchini. Great service.

I had really high hopes for this place. My husband made reservations in advance for my birthday, beautiful weather, etc. we arrive to our reservation and they weren’t able to accommodate outside seating because they are first come first serve. No worries. But I was expecting to be seated in the front end of the restaurant where the ambiance is romantic with dim lighting, live music, etc- because after all, my husband my reservations well in advance. Instead, we were placed in the back of the restaurant, no ambient lighting, seated right next to the kitchen, it looks like a nice cafeteria - polar opposite from the front end of the restaurant, we digress. Order drinks, server comes back and we order and appetizer and some sushi- appetizer comes out relatively quickly, sushi never comes- our server also never came back. After over an hour of being in the restaurant, we received one round of drinks and 1/2 appetizers we ordered. It was busy, but no where near busy enough to justify the wait- we had to flag a different server just to get our check and go somewhere else. Incredibly disappointing, especially for a special occasion.

Nice restaurant with great atmosphere. The menu offers a wide selection of dishes. The food was OKAY.. but from my point of view there is a lack of flavor and it could be improved. It is good to try but personally I will not go back.Dietary restrictions: Offers Limited Gluten Free OptionsParking: There is limited parking since is in a Main Street. Also, if you pass the traffic light next to the restaurant and continue making a slight right there is a paid parking lot. Is the closet parking to the restaurant.

One of the more poorly crafted menus I've ever seen. And the food is just plain "Line Cook Food". Fun place to drink and would give the bar 4 stars. But the food is underwhelming to say the least.

am writing because we were a party of 4 woman who had a reservation on Sunday February 18, 2024. We ordered an appetizer, which was a bowl of Brussel Sprouts and we also lettuce wraps. The Brussel Sprouts came out before the lettuce wraps. We never received appetizer plates and the 4 of us had to eat directly out of the bowl so the brussel sprouts wouldn’t be cold. Totally unacceptable and disgraceful on your restaurant for not bringing plates with the appetizer. When the lettuce wraps came out we had to ask for appetizer plates. Why should customers have to ask when it is common sense? After we were done dinner we were sitting and chatting and catching up. That is when the hostess with long straight hair NOT a manager a hostess came over to our table and asked as us to leave as a party was waiting. That should have been a managers job not some young girl. However there were multiple tables empty. After the hostess left our table she went into the kitchen and when she came out of the kitchen she looked my way and gave me a dirty look. I guess the waitress wanted to go home. However she had other tables with people sitting there longer than us. If they needed the table a manager should have come to the table not a young girl with an attitude. Who was asked to do that by the waitressThis treatment is not how you treat customers that are paying to eat at your establishment.

Had good experiences here and some not great. The big knock is that there aren’t changing tables in the bathrooms which was shocking as I had to change my infant on the sink counter. Love the atmosphere of the bar area but we have been sat in a weird/separate back area all by ourselves which was strange. Food has always been good and so are the drinks.Kid-friendliness: There aren’t changing tables so be prepared if you bring a young toddler or infant

Excellent food and service. We had 6:30 reservations on a Saturday evening and they sat us as soon as we walked in at 6:30. Like every place now a days, a little pricey, but excellent service and food demands a premium. I'd rather pay a little extra for the exceptional food and service than be inexpensive and a bad experience. We can't wait to go back again.
