If I could give 0 stars I would. I ordered a bagel with lox cream cheese and lox, yet it took FOUR different bagels to get it correct. I have never experienced something quite like this before, where each time it is remade it still was not accurate. The order was even written down correctly, so I’m not sure how this continued to happen. I absolutely would not recommend this place, nor will I ever return. Extremely disappointed.

Hands down the best bagels and best coffee.My nova lox bagle was delicious and made right.Staff is friendly, especially the owner who is a complete gentleman.We will definitely return for more good food.

We stopped by Saturday morning for light breakfast in fact for bagels. However, the lady at the counter was just not having her day I guess, she appeared frustrated because we took an extra minute to order!! Well look people, no one wants to work on the weekend, I totally understand but customers who shows up to your business definitely don’t want to see grumpy faces in the morning. Please have at east a smile on for business sake. :)
Having lived in Manhattan for years, I am a bagel snob. I don't consider the large, doughy, round pieces of bread sold in most Bucks County shops "bagels." So, I was thrilled to learn about Bagel Barrel on FB. Manhattan s right on State Street in Doylestown! They are boiled before baking, as real bagels should be. And they are delicious ?.

Want a NY bagel in Doylestown? Then this is the place to go. The staff was incredibly friendly when our large group of classmates (~12) all arrived at the same time for bagels before an event. The friendly staff and owner accommodated us and the food was made fresh very quickly. You order at the counter and then pay when the staff calls your name. For a normal day, there are plenty of tables to sit at. You can also get a bag of bagels to go if you prefer or order a tray of sliced bagels with cream cheese for a group breakfast. I will definitely be back to try a sweet bagel next time instead of the amazing lox salt bagel I got last time.

Wish I could give negative stars as its place for refuse to serve me with my service animal. This place is a joke of an establishment. Go to Village bagel instead.

In addition to the extremely rude customer service, the bacon egg and cheese on a bagel tasted like nothing but salt.The bacon was clearly microwaved - and couldn't have been for more than 10 seconds before it was thrown onto the microwaved eggs. The bagel itself also tasted like salt - I learned that after I took everything off the bagel in hopes of salvaging my breakfast sandwich that I overpaid for. This is the only time I've been here so maybe an off day but if you are going to go here - maybe just stick with a bagel with butter or cream cheese.

Fantastic bagels, sandwiches and coffee. Instantly greeted and waited on as soon as I walked in. The place smells fantastic and has seating inside and out. I enjoyed multiple lox sandwiches and took some home as well. I will definitely be back!
