Been living here for a few years and decided to try Farmhouse Tavern since it had such great reviews. I was honestly surprised at how bad the food was. I don’t know if there’s new chefs and maybe they just didn’t care or maybe we caught them on a bad night. Honestly the worst food I’ve had in years. The gentleman next to us pulled a wire out of his steak and had to send it back. Unfortunately I felt like I threw my money away because we didn’t finish anything and had to send one item back. We won’t go back.

When we went for lunch .There's was only one person. Behind the bar and serving tables.The place was packed (She had blonde hair.)No bussers noone.We happened to wait in line for a table,while others walked out.Glad we did.This woman did a hell of a job .Serving everyone!!!.Food was good ,they have different food options.Beer was cold.Atmosphere was historic which I love.Worth stopping in.

Mozzarella sticks were terrible, way too overcooked. Cheesesteak sandwich was pretty tasteless and they forgot the fried onions. Glasses were cloudy, New ones definitely needed. Asked for water but never received it. There was only 1 waitress and 1 bartender and it was very busy. They really couldn't keep up which is management's fault. Not the cleanest place including the bathroom. Will never go back.

The burgers were amazing. Excellent onion rings. They had no problem with my 2 year old being with us. The staff were all friendly and helpful. The service was great.

Surprisingly good food for what looked like a regular bar. Went for lunch with my sister after Michener Museum. Great service too!
Great! Tavern! Clams casino soup was fantastic, the bordering on a little salty. Absolutely worth the experience!

My wife and I decided to stop here on our travels. We really enjoyed the old town bar atmosphere. It was even great to see some of the locals walk in and greeted by the staff who knew them.
10 beers on tap. Nice and cold….& fresh. Loved that they had Yuengling Black & Tan on tap.
Food was delicious. I included a photo of the homemade mozzarella sticks. These are some of the best I ever had. My Reuben sandwich was excellent. A big sandwich with a lot of corn beef. I barely finished it. My wife had the Chili. Very tasty. Not too hot at all with spice, which was perfect.
The two ladies behind the bar were outstanding!! Super fast service. Super friendly. Made our visit that much better.
This is not a sports bar with tv’s everywhere. Sometimes it is nice to find a bar like this where you go to have a beer, a great meal and enjoy good company without a lot of distractions. Great crowd there too.
We definitely would like to visit again in the future.
