Excellent food, the best we’ve had in Bucks County and Lambertville. Fish tacos and birria tacos were delicious. A great menu. And excellent service from Cindy.

Ok food. Atmosphere was clean but really not that appealing. Food prices were similar to places with prettier surroundings. Good for take out next time.

Well, if it means anything at all, I am a born and raised Texan with a lot of Mexican and TexMex food experience under my belt - it shows. Being so far away can be so difficult, and the task becomes so much more difficult when finding good TexMex/ Mexican food. Im prone to being home sick and often look for familiar comforts, and alas Fridas has blown it out of the water. I am picky (who isn’t?) about Mexican food because I’ve been spoiled my whole life on it.

Las Fridas tastes just like home on the border. The first time I got the chimichanga with my homesick friend from LATAM, we couldn’t help but to tear up a little bit. How silly! Nobody expected that! This place is my favorite restaurant outside of Mexico/Texas. The mole is impressive.

This is the best Mexican spot in SE PA outside of Philly, and even then, I can’t think of a restaurant in Philly I prefer. It makes life a little easier knowing I’m really not so far.

Delicious authentic food with a lot of flavor, the birria tacos are one of our favorite menu items here! Horchata and agua frescas are refreshing. We’ve tried the shrimp taco platter, chori pollo, quesabirria, and enchiladas. The food does not disappoint, there are lots of options. Service is quick. Portions are decent. If you can handle the heat, ask for the extra spicy habanero sauce.

So happy to finally find an authentic Mexican restaurant! We have been to Doylestown many times but only came across this restaurant recently since it is a bit away from the main downtown section. Will definitely be coming back. The birria tacos were delicious! The meat was tender, juicy, and flavorful, especially when dipped in the consomme. The rice is also delicious and well seasoned. Also highly recommend the horchata agua fresca, it is super refreshing in the summer. Great service, clean and comfortable atmosphere, within walking distance from the Mercer Museum, highly recommend!

Las Fridas is authentic Mexican food.
After living in Arizona and moving to the East Coast years ago, I have longed to find a solid Mexican restaurant that comes close to the cuisine (Sonoran) I grew accustomed to. Las Fridas is one of the best I have found. It's not only the fresh ingredients they use, it's the preparation of the food that makes it taste better than the rest.
It's the little things, from the guacamole to the crema Mexicana (over sour cream) that I've taken notice of. The food is just better.
Two take-out orders in and I will be back for more.

They give a free appetizer of some chips and sauce, free water refills, not too much fat, a very big variety of dishes.

Unfortunately, this place has been a major letdown. We’ve given it multiple tries, hoping for consistency, but it’s just not there. The meat is often way too salty...so much so that it’s hard to enjoy anything else on the plate. One visit, the tacos were decent; the next, completely dry and over salted. It feels like a gamble every time you order.

This small restaurant on the fringe of the business district is not to be missed. It's the only authentic Mexican restaurant in the area. Don't expect heaps of cloying cheddar and jack cheese. Expect only good ingredients carefully prepared.
The staff is attentive and grateful for your business. The surroundings are appropriate to the food and invite fun, not whispered tones.
Parking out back is free and there's a convenient rear entrance. So put on your jeans, spend a modest sum and have fun with great food.
