Historical mill. Very good food. Well lit. Good service.
Used to love coming here until tonight. They changed the menu and got rid of a lot of things that we enjoyed. Cauliflower appetizer is gone, tavern pretzel changed for soft pretzel knots, cauliflower shrimp bowl gone, flatbreads gone, other things as well. Bummer.
Really lovely folks and great food. Haven't had a bad meal there ever.and the drinks are banging! Great atmosphere too.
Great food, service and atmosphere.

Plenty of parking and nice atmosphere. Food is pretty good.
Happy hour is great and the French onion soup is the best!

Great atmosphere and food! Richard was our server and was enthusiastic, energetic, and highly attentive to our needs! Would highly recommend the Water Wheel for any occasion!
Richard our waiter was over the top knowledgeable and very nice!! He was outstanding 5 ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️
Excellent service and the food was delicious. It was a busy Friday night and food and drinks came out quickly. Our Server Richard was friendly and made our experience enjoyable. I really like that the Happy Hour specials are extended to the whole dining room. It's a great value from 4-6 on weekdays. Happy Hour is my favorite way to enjoy an establishments food selections as its budget friendly. The Water Wheel is a charming place with wide wood floors, ceiling beams and stone fireplace.

Wednesday nights are Prime Rib night and it was delicious. We go often to this restaurant often and are always satisfied with the food and service.
The table was booked earlier, but had to wait about 12-13 minutes. Most of the teenagers work.
The burger was delicious, the portions were good, the meat was made as ordered. The bacon in the burger was cooked well, good quality onion rings.

Our party of 4 sat at a high-top table in the bar area. Dan Ward was playing fun music at a great level (we were still able to have a conversation while enjoying the music). There are tables in an area separate from the bar that would provide a quieter experience - with a cozy fireplace! Katie, our waitress was wonderful! Our drinks were good - cosmos and espresso martinis (yummy!). The food was outstanding! We had the wings, brussell sprouts and french onion soup as appetizers and all were some of the best we've had anywhere. Each of us enjoyed our entree - steakhouse burger (cooked perfectly to my liking), fish and chips, po boy sandwich, and short rib tacos. And we all left with leftovers! We look forward to returning. I recommend reservations to ensure seating.
My family and I arrived early for our reservation, after checking in we told the host that we would be at the bar. We had to remind the host that we were there. Our food was cold and our filet mignon were over cooked and dry. Lastly it was terribly over priced.
