Excellent service and the food was delicious. It was a busy Friday night and food and drinks came out quickly. Our Server Richard was friendly and made our experience enjoyable. I really like that the Happy Hour specials are extended to the whole dining room. It's a great value from 4-6 on weekdays. Happy Hour is my favorite way to enjoy an establishments food selections as its budget friendly. The Water Wheel is a charming place with wide wood floors, ceiling beams and stone fireplace.

Wednesday nights are Prime Rib night and it was delicious. We go often to this restaurant often and are always satisfied with the food and service.

The table was booked earlier, but had to wait about 12-13 minutes. Most of the teenagers work.
The burger was delicious, the portions were good, the meat was made as ordered. The bacon in the burger was cooked well, good quality onion rings.

Our party of 4 sat at a high-top table in the bar area. Dan Ward was playing fun music at a great level (we were still able to have a conversation while enjoying the music). There are tables in an area separate from the bar that would provide a quieter experience - with a cozy fireplace! Katie, our waitress was wonderful! Our drinks were good - cosmos and espresso martinis (yummy!). The food was outstanding! We had the wings, brussell sprouts and french onion soup as appetizers and all were some of the best we've had anywhere. Each of us enjoyed our entree - steakhouse burger (cooked perfectly to my liking), fish and chips, po boy sandwich, and short rib tacos. And we all left with leftovers! We look forward to returning. I recommend reservations to ensure seating.

My family and I arrived early for our reservation, after checking in we told the host that we would be at the bar. We had to remind the host that we were there. Our food was cold and our filet mignon were over cooked and dry. Lastly it was terribly over priced.

We've been to Waterwheel many times and the food has been consistently good which is why we chose to eat our New Years Eve dinner there. But we were disappointed with our food last night. Both the crab cakes and the cod did not taste right and wasn't prepared well. We did not enjoy our food. On a positive note the desert, ‘Grandma's Cake' was excellent. Hopefully this was just a bad night and will not be a recurring issue at Waterwheel. At some point we'll give them another try since we've usually had a very good dining experience.

Enjoyed dinner in the bar area on New Year's Eve. There was live music, and the food was delicious. Our server Katie was awesome.

Excellent dinner, great service and overall cool place to hangout. Spent some time at the bar watching the football game with friends. Great TV's and atmosphere. Just strange that the place was closing at 9.

I typically don’t leave bad reviews, but after my experience last night I had to say something. My girlfriend and I come to WaterWheel quite often, and usually have decent experiences and food. Last night, however, I ordered the Jerk Shrimp skewers and as I was eating the shrimp, I realized it was undercooked. I spit up part of the shrimp, and it was grey. Within a few minutes my stomach felt queasy. I went to the restroom and ended up vomiting for about 10 minutes. I’ve ordered this dish before and never had this reaction to it.

Apparently the manager came out and spoke to my girlfriend while I was in the bathroom, and said she would check in on us later. When I returned, after vomiting in the bathroom for quite some time, our entrees were on the table and the manager never came out to check in or see how I was doing. Our waitress said the shrimp skewers had been comped and our two drinks, but again no one asked if I was ok…after being served undercooked shellfish and vomiting. I guess talking to my girlfriend was sufficient enough for the manager, even though I was the one who had the undercooked food. After our waitress returned again, we asked for to go boxes; this would’ve been an opportune time for the manager to come out again. Instead, our waitress returned with our bill, which we quietly paid and then left.

It’s about 24 hours later, and I still feel unwell; I have also not heard anything from the restaurant. The undercooked food experience is enough to concern me, but if this is how a risky and potentially dangerous situation will be handled, I will never return to WaterWheel. I’m lucky it was just a vomiting reaction and not a hospital stay. It’s extremely disappointing that this is how they chose to handle this situation.
