I went to Turning Point in Brick for lunch with my Mom on March 14, 2025.We both ordered the Seaside Jersey Club. After ordering the waitress left the table. I called her back to ask if they still offered the Citrus Salad Greens or chips and salsa? She then asked which one we wanted. When the sandwiches were served they literally had one thin slice of turkey, missing the swiss cheese but it did have lettuce, tomato and onions. My sandwich the toast was burnt plus I was served the heels of the bread. It didn't come close to looking like its photo. We ate half of the sandwich because after waiting 45 minutes we were famished. The other halves we took home to show my son the poor excuse of a sandwich. I called Corporate on Monday, March 17, 2025 and was told someone would get back to me. Still waiting. I will say I have been to other locations and was please. Brick location had a 45 minute wait even though there were numerous empty tables. It was poorly managed. If I was the waitress I would never have served a costumer those pathetic sandwiches. I didn’t ask for the manager because I just wanted to get out of there. I was do annoyed. I figured if the manager wasn’t capable of running the restaurant what would be the point in speaking to him/her. You cannot convince me they aren’t aware of the food that is sent out. There’s no excuse for serving a sandwich of that lacks quality! I sent this to them in an email and also called. Still no response. An apology would have been nice.
Great food and reasonable price!!!
I love turning point. The atmosphere is bright, clean, modern and has a cozy fire place. The service is consistently good, fast and friendly. And where can you get a good pot of coffee and a full egg breakfast with potatoes and gluten free toast (no up charge) for $12.67? Keep up the great work turning point!

They have gluten free options and fresh food. The service was great.
My second visit, I ordered 3 take-away platters. I was excited because the food was good the first time I visited and the prices were decent. I ordered three breakfast specials, for my family. I arrived home and saw that 1 order was wrong (peppers instead of onions) and the other two platters both had pieces of hair in the potatoes. Disgusting! Very disappointed, and cannot recommend for safety/sanitary reasons.
Update: Eric from Turning Points Cafe reached out to correct the matter and I'm very satisfied with their timely action. It means a lot that they were willing to look into this issue.

This place does not offer your standard selection of breakfast items but does everything they do sell very well. You can still get pancakes, eggs, and omelettes but they are not the traditional offerings you may expect from a diner…perhaps consider these offerings a bit more upscale? Delicious French press coffee with multiple options including Jamaican Blue Mountain and 100% Kona makes every meal here so much better. While it’s no longer included on their regular menu, if the Shakshuka is offered you should definitely try it!!

I watched an employee drop the insert to the portafilter on the dirty floor then proceed to rinse it under a cold faucet for 2 seconds before preparing a customers beverage.

I brought my 3 year old son here for breakfast and he was having a “moment” as any normal toddler does at times. I was trying to help him calm down and the manager asked if I wanted him to bring crayons. I said “I’m not sure it will help” but he brought them over anyway, along with a pad of paper. He told me (in a very noticeably angry and disapproving tone) that he needed my son to calm down. It felt like we were not welcome to dine at the restaurant, so I told the waitress (who was very kind and understanding) and we left. Very disappointed with the way that my son and I were treated by this manager.

This was our first time visiting Turning Point, and I can say we're already planning our return visit. The moment you walk in you are greeted with such pleasantries- The atmosphere gives like open farm style with modern touches. Offering you breakfast, brunch, and lunch. We had breakfast and the hot coffee set the tone as our fabulous waitress left the coffee craft with us. Then the food!!! We had the Strawberry Cheesecake French Toast & The Pork Roll Sandwich with a hard-fried egg on a bagel. Too good for words. Like I said, we are looking forward to returning soon.

Freezing cold in this restaurant in the winter!! And they seat single person parties at the 2 person tables by the window. You have to eat with your coat on. Cheese grits are phenomenal and one of the only reasons I would go back.
