We were on our way to the Roadhoyse but so busy there wasn't even a parking spot. Google directions to Vesuvius, which was a great alternative. Friendly service, great looking pizzas, although we had a hoagies. The bread alone was a treat. Three pages of beer options and a full bar.
What a great place to stop for dinner. Vesuvio's is clean, modern & inviting w/lots of parking. My soup & chicken parm were both delicious & my wife loved her balsamic chicken sandwich. The draft beer from Founders' brewery was thick & frosty. We dined inside, but the outdoor deck looked great as well. You Need To Know? Arrived around 5:45 on a friday night & we were able to seat ourselves. The bar itself was packed. Waitress was friendly, polite & prompt. We ordered the Detroit style pizza, Jameson chicken bites & a North Main Cheesesteak. The cheesesteak had jalapeños poppers, onion rings & southwestern ranch on a cheesesteak.
