I asked Kaysi if she could make her Peanut Butter & Jelly cupcake into a two-tier cake for my son’s Grease-themed birthday party. It was quite possibly the best cake we have ever had! I might add, I changed my mind a few times before deciding on this flavor and Kaysi was so patient with me! She and her team also arranged the decorations I had for the cake beautifully. Will be booking with them for our next event!
Absolutely stellar food, drink, and service. I couldn’t say enough good things about this place. Beautifully renovated. They serve consistently delicious, thoughtful, unique items. Balanced, well seasoned drinks and food. Everything in the bakery case is always wonderful. I can imagine how much work goes into running a place like this. Well done, Kaysi! I look forward to stopping every time I am in DuBois.
Stopped today for the first time and got a coffee and two sweet treats, one for my son. My coffee was delicious and the macaron was amazing! Definitely will be back to try lunch sometime!
The savory scone with turkey sausage gravy, fried egg, and asiago cheese, was one of the best things I've eaten in my entire life.
Such a cute café! The avocado toast is so good! Also the summer peaches & cream drink was amazing! The piano adds a fun element:)

Have eaten there many times, including their breakfast sandwich, which was awesome. Also had a lot of different baked goods, which we've liked very much. Until today. We visited with the anticipation of getting their excellent scones, our favorite. But to our dismay, the scones we brought home were very overdone and stale. They didn't even resemble the scones we were familiar with. Also, the Gingerbread Eggnog latte had no Eggnog. It took over 15 minutes to just get a coffee drink! We hoped this would be our new go-to spot, but today was a significant disappointment. Owner, please chime in.
Food & deserts were fantastic! Somewhat expensive but bad if you want to treat yourself. I don't blame this place just the economy the last 4 yrs.

Cozy Cafe with excellent service, delicious desserts, variety of drinks, specialty food. Loved the atmosphere in the lounge area. One of my favorite is the irresistibly warm and gooey house-made cinnamon rolls 🤤

I had one of the best lunches I’ve had in a long time today at Kaysi’s. Brussel Sprout Salad and Mushroom soup. Everything was fresh and fantastic. I wish I lived in Dubois and wasn’t just visiting, this would be my go to spot! I sadly didn’t try anything sweet, but based on the looks of everything I missed out! My daughter loved her iced coffee as well!

I absolutely love this place! Whether you're going in for a delicious coffee, fantastic meal, or a sweet treat you will not be disappointed! On top of the wonderful consumable options the staff are all so polite and want to get to know the customers. And the atmosphere is just to die for!! So cute and comfy and quaint! A truly wonderful business!

I recently ordered two birthday cakes for my husband's birthday. Although the cakes were beautifully decorated, I was extremely disappointed with the quality, taste and value.
The cakes were significantly smaller than I expected for the price of $60 per cake. I had a sneaking suspicion when I picked them up and the boxes appeared warped from moisture that they had either been frozen or in the fridge for a long time. I had hoped to receive fresh, homemade cakes.
To my further disappointment, the cakes were incredibly dense and compacted and the intense sweetness was overwhelming, making them nearly inedible.
The price I paid did not align with the size, quality, or freshness of the cakes. I would not recommend to others looking for a whole cake.

If you are a local or someone passing through via I-80 the 219 or 322, this needs to be on your list of places to stop. The people here are all so friendly, and the Cafe is so inviting. I have tried a couple of different drinks on their menu, and I have never been disappointed.
We just discovered the lounge area, and I know my daughter will want to come back over and over again!
They just extended their weekday hours to open at 7am, which now makes this my go-to coffee spot.
If you like baked goods, there is a wide variety of goodies to choose from- I suggest stopping in on Sunday for a fresh bagel - they are AMAZING. The brunch menu has something for everyone!
The menu changes with the seasons, so even if you've visited before, you haven't visited now. Check it out!
Kid-friendliness: Kids love the lounge. There are games, puzzles, a play tea set, books, and so much more! The cake pops are "the best" (per my 6 year old)
