Loved the Hitching Post! The food and service were wonderful and it had a warm, cozy atmosphere. We were in DuBois overnight on a bus tour, I left my purse on the back of the chair and didn't realize it until the next morning just before the bus was leaving. I received a call that evening from the owner, letting me know the server found my purse and they would mail it back to me. I received my purse today with a thank you note for eating at the Hitching Post! What wonderful people!
My sister and I ended up here exactly one week ago - just passing through. Food was good. The young bartender/server was very patient and nice with the two ladies behind us who were obviously in a rush. Good job!

It was super quiet while we were there, but you can tell this place can get exciting! The burgers were great, I really enjoyed mine with the hot dog sauce on my burger with an egg! Super unique! We’ll definitely stop again when we are in the area.
