Great fun & very good Italian lasagna & cuisine. Looking forward to returning. Cool former Troutman Department store venue. Met the owner Eddie T today very much cares about the history and future of this wonderful Italian restaurant in DuBois. Recommended!
My wife and I had dinner at Luigiβs Ristorante in DuBois and it was a great experience! The complementary bread is delicious β warm and fresh. The meal was excellent, the service was outstanding, and the overall atmosphere made it a perfect evening. Highly recommend this place! π

Filling and delicious, with a fantastic atmosphere and very kind service. The chef was happy to accommodate dietary restrictions (vegan, gluten-free) within our group. Their alfredo sauce was particularly tasty, and their massive, fluffy slices of bread are perfect for sopping it up.

Food was average -- filet mignon was OK, veal parm was tough, bread was stale, eggplant parm was good. Service was surprisingly bad -- dishes were not cleared in a timely manner, no refill on water, service at nearby tables seemed better, so perhaps hit or miss, but still reflects on poor management.

Great food....service was slow as could be and food was like warm. Every other time I have been here we have never had an issue. Lunch time is not the best time for the best service.

We stopped at Luigiβs in DuBois, PA while traveling and honestly left disappointed. The food was okay at best β definitely not the amazing Italian experience we were expecting. We travel a lot and eat Italian food all over Ohio, Pennsylvania, and New York, and weβve had MUCH better before and after this stop. π
The garlic sauce brought to the table tasted strange and just wasnβt for us. Overall the food was average and forgettable.
What really made the experience uncomfortable, though, was the owner, Eddie. Friendly is one thing, but there was way too much hovering around the table while we were trying to eat and talk. Constant interruptions, repeated conversations, touching/patting my husband on the shoulder and back multiple timesβ¦ it just crossed into awkward territory for us personally. People come to dinner to relax and enjoy their meal, not feel hovered over. π¬
Not the worst restaurant weβve ever visited, but definitely not one weβd return to with so many better Italian spots out there. Just our honest experience.

Pizza with great mozzarella was perfectly flavorful. The cheese stretched forever and the oil (butter?) was apparent and welcome. Came with thick sliced bread. The restaurant is in an historic building. See the takeout window attached. Makes us smile.
