Amazing food and amazing service!! Couldn’t have asked for a better experience. And the price was amazing.
Have been here 3 times in the past year and could not have been more pleased. Twice I and my son had the New York strip steak and the most recent time had the tuna with sesame seeds with soy sauce Accompliments included baked potatoes, sweet French fries, onionri s, French fries and house salads during the three visits with generous portions each time. With each visit the server was very frustrated, professional and attentive. Very clean interior and very clean restrooms. Convenient parking. Will certainly recommend and certainly intend to return.
Friday night fish dinner $13.00. The tall dark hair waitresses outstanding. The cook knows how to cook too. Good got and delicious.
We were here on a Saturday night. Service was polite and quick. I had the Saturday night special of snow crab legs with cole slaw, and Tanners chips. They brought out a little candle warmer for the drawn butter. That's a plus. I usually work so slow by the time I'm finished my butter is cold and starting to harden up again. It was all very good. My husband had the beef tenderloin tips with zucchini fries and green beans. He said the beef was tender and rest was good too.
Until they decided to ignore us. Sat us at a table with no settings/utensils. We ordered drinks which came as expected. Later ordered appetizers and meals.... then waited, and waited and waited. About an hour later meals and appetizers come at the same time, at which point we reminded the wait person we needed something to eat with. The appetizers were barely warm, but out of hunger we ate them. At that point, the main courses were cold. However, I ate a portion of my cold meal because I was very hungry. The baked potato and the broccoli wouldn't even melt butter. After being ignored for a period of time, we finally got to tell the wait person about the meal. It appeared she was expecting the news and simply said I'm sorry and will deduct my wife's meal. It appears these folks were more busy with other clientele while neglecting certain tables. NOT IMPRESSED. This is a place one would never expect to be treated in this manner. A word of advice to the Comfort Suites of Dubois, PA.... disassociate yourself with this restaurant before it affects your bottom line.
First of it is NOT Fine dining ! It as a matter of fact, was the absolute worse dining experience of my life... and I have lived awhile ! We sat down at 6:30 pm and we were not served our main courses until 8:30 pm. You read that right ! Two hours we sat there, sporadically received salads and appetizers, rarely asked if we wanted a refill on drinks, the food when we FINALLY did receive it was cold ! The “manager” instead of apologizing to the bride and groom, ( oh yeah did I forget to mention that we went there after my grandsons wedding ?!?!) the “ manager” ask us what do you expect for a party of twenty ? Hmmmm.... possibly service ???? The service we got was reprehensible ! We can and will without a shadow of a doubt never recommend that “bar and grill” to anyone, ever. And after checking with others we are not the only ones that feel that way.

Long ticket times crazy attitudes bad service never going again that place sucks PS get better cooks
Arrived for Friday night dinner. A guitar player with amps started playing at 7. It was obnoxiously loud. My husband and I could not hear the other couple we came with. The food and service was good. But dinner was ruined by this loud music. I don't understand why the music did not start at 9pm...

I went here to eat with a group of people. There were probably 9 tables of 6 or 7 people. We ordered. After 50 minutes of not receiving our burgers we ordered I went up to the manager and said that we hadn’t gotten our food and had been waiting for 50 minutes. She stated that obviously they were busy. I pointed out that every single table had already eaten and finished. Interestingly our food came out within 5 minutes then. My friends ordered 10 minutes after me and still hadn’t received they’re food an hour and five minutes later. When we asked the waitress where the food was she stated that they had ordered late. Again food came within five minutes. After the 65 minute wait, one of the people’s food was still frozen in the middle. Not a good experience which is sad because the food is relatively tasty. Waitress took my money for bill and never returned my change.
We were staying at the hotel next door and saw that the Tannery had a 1/2 price apps special on Saturday evening. So instead of getting some meals we loaded up and tried almost all the apps! It was certainly not a healthy option, but it was a tasty option! My particular favorite was the buffalo chicken cruncholi. It was the perfect amount of hot to add tasty heat, but not painful heat. I am of course basing this review on a special deal, but for what we paid, the volume and tastiness of the food was excellent.
We were here for a work holiday get together. The staff were excellent - paid attention to detail, and the venue had a nice atmosphere/decor.
I’d give it zero stars if I could. The food is not good, the service is not good. The beer is fairly inexpensive but no craft selection.
After seeing someone else order the Tomahawk pork chop I had to try it. It tasted even better than it looked. I don't usually order pork chops when I eat out, but I am already looking forward to the next time I am in Dubois so I can get it again. Absolutely amazing, do yourself a favor and order it next time you are in the area. Everything else is awesome as well and being able to sit outside and enjoy the great view is just icing on the cake. Great service, great menu, great atmosphere.
