We really enjoy Hutch’s every time we go! Steaks are fantastic, never a bad meal. The staff is so friendly and welcoming. The atmosphere is comfortable and the decor is like walking into an active time vault. American Pickers would love it as much as we do!
Steak was good, service great for only two people working. But very very cold !!
No service
So cold could not stand it.
Went to bud Murphy for dinner.
Waited 16 minutes for service before leaving the establishment. Wasn’t busy(2 patrons at the bar and 5-6 tables)3 different employees came behind the bar and never even acknowledged my presence. Won’t ever patronize again.
Steak and prime rib are always consistently good. The owner truly cares about his product going out of the kitchen.....

This place has been on my radar for quite some time and we finally made it in for dinner on a Saturday night. I ordered the king cut of prime rib which came with a side salad and B potatoes.
The prime rib was fantastic and cooked to perfection. Ended up cheating and had a piece of chocolate cake for dessert as well.
Highly recommended if your near Connellsville.

Food was very good. I had the Tex Mex Shepherd Pie. However, this is the first time I've ever been to a tap house that didn't have so much as 1 beer on tap.

Except for the air conditioner not working, we had an awesome king and queen cut prime rib dinner. The steaks were awesome, not at all skimpy on servings either. Some really good house made salad dressing too!

Excellent food and service
The first thing you notice walking in is the musty smell. Our waitress Madison was a Good waitress but failed to ask my boyfriend how he wanted his steak cooked on his steak sandwich. It was almost raw and it was tough! He said he thought he'd break a tooth on it. He is not a fan of raw steak, prefers it cooked all the way. We ended up bringing it home for the dogs, the grilled chicken on my salad had a strange texture, kind of spongy, I had a couple bites and brought that home for the dogs too. Bathroom toilet looked like it hadn't been cleaned in 50 yrs! Boyfriend said there were buckets under the urinals! This is supposed to be a supper club? Boyfriend said he could have bought a sandwich at a gas station that would have been better. I will give the food 1 star because the blue cheese dressing was homemade and good. Other than that don't waste your money there. They also charge us for refill on ice tea! Who charges for refills on ice tea? Nowhere that I know of.

My first time at this restaurant and unfortunately I wasn’t impressed. It felt as if there wasn’t any heat on in the building, there were flickering light bulbs that were very distracting and there was a leak from the ceiling in 2 places with buckets on chairs catching the water. The atmosphere and decor is extremely eclectic, which isn’t a terrible thing. The service was acceptable. One meal was the Prime Rib special. It was cooked as ordered and was a very nice cut and size for the cost. The other meal was the fried cod dinner which came with a salad and one side, the baked potato was chosen. The hot crispy fish was placed on a cold plate which made it lukewarm when it came out. The fish was cooked well and was flaky. I ate half the meal and took the other half to go. However when I was packing up the potato to go I noticed a black hair in the dish under the potato. Needless to say I didn’t take it home with me. I also didn’t say anything to the server because I had already eaten half of the meal before it was noticed. As far as cost goes it is competitive with other similar restaurants.

Better late than never…My husband and I celebrated our anniversary in this area early November. He really wanted Prime Rib. So I did some research and decided this was the place to go. (I came across the owners videos/blogs online which is how I found Hutch’s.) Hutch’s was about a 30 minute drive from where we were staying but we decided to take a chance. It did not disappoint! My husband said it was the best prime rib he ever had.❤️ I had the surf n turf and the shrimp was delicious. We order French onion soup wherever we go so of course we had to try it. It was wonderful. The atmosphere was cozy and we felt so welcomed. The quality and price was spot on. The chef/owner made it a point to talk to his patrons and really went above and beyond to make us feel special. He even gave us a complimentary soup to take home.❤️ We have told our family members and friends to make sure they eat here when they are in the area. Thank you for an unforgettable evening.
