“I love this bar. I’ve visited for years, since I moved to the area. It’s a quick lunch spot and a great place for late night refreshments. And the soups!!!! The patio was a beautiful addition that I have really enjoyed the past few summers. This year’s addition of palms and tiki umbrellas has created an even more relaxing environment. All of the employees are incredibly friendly and quickly get to know you. It’s welcoming. Also, I feel safe going here alone. The owners are generous in supporting their local community and neighbors. They have helped me on multiple occasions host fundraisers for various charities I am involved with or they have made donations. Truly a locally owned small business/gem of Dunbar that you should try. If you’re new to the area, you just might make new friends. If you’re stopping through, you’ll be welcomed. I almost forgot, this is my favorite place to feel the holiday spirit. Halloween is an event and Christmas is a popup bar/holiday vibe. Seriously, the inside is covered in Christmas lights. Multicolored. You’ll love it.”

“I can't say enough good things about this place. Shower for my niece was one of three events hosted plus reg business hours on this special day. Would have never know three events and all lodging options were booked on this day. Such a peaceful, simple, relaxing place. Shower hosted in the Estate room was perfect. Room is perfect so no or very little decorating us necessary. Relatives rented the house on property and it's historic, charming, and well kept. Manager, Scott, was easy going and great to work with, as was all staff. Stop for a bite to eat, enjoy a glass of wine, stay the night, or rent the venue, or all 4! EVERYTHING is fantastic!”

“⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We stopped by Yough River Brewing Company on Thursday, October 16th, while traveling from Cincinnati to Gettysburg, PA. We picked this place because it was nearly halfway along our route — and we couldn’t have chosen a better stop! 🍻 Going into “enemy territory,” one never knows how the locals will react to you cheering for the visiting team — especially when Pittsburgh was playing Cincinnati that night. 😅 But we couldn’t have been more surprised! They welcomed us with open arms, and everyone was extremely friendly and laid back. Their selection of craft beers was amazing, and we ordered multiple flights to sample as many as we could. 🍺🐾 Even better, they’re pet-friendly, and our pup Gracie was free to wander around and soak up the attention from fellow patrons who stopped to play with her and talk football with our crew. They also have an amazing outdoor seating area with fire pits and multiple TVs, perfect for relaxing and catching a game. “I had the chicken parmigiana last night and it was amazing !!! My husband had the prime rib and he said it was the best he ever had !!! The sweet and sour dressing on my side salad was delicious !!! Definitely will be a regular customer. They were able to accommodate a large group of us (12). Our server Stephanie was wonderful and attentive !!! The new owners introduced themselves and it was an amazing atmosphere full of people laughing and smiling. Great things are happening at Meloni’s.”

“We had an absolutely wonderful experience at Olive Garden, and I really want to make sure our server, Keristen, gets the recognition she deserves.

I genuinely adored having her as our server. She was warm, funny, personable, attentive, and incredibly enjoyable to interact with throughout the entire meal. She brought such a fun energy to the table without ever making it feel forced, and she struck that perfect balance between being engaging and still giving us space to enjoy ourselves.

Honestly, this was one of the best dining experiences I have ever had at this restaurant, and Keristen was a huge reason why.

There are servers who take your order and make sure everything arrives correctly, and then there are people who actually add something memorable to the experience. Keristen did that. She made us laugh, made us feel welcome, paid attention to what we needed, and helped turn an ordinary dinner into something that was genuinely fun. I would be absolutely thrilled to have her as our server again.

There was one part of the visit that stood in pretty sharp contrast. The manager, Angelina Piccolomini, is someone I knew from the past. During this visit, I attempted to speak with her twice, and both times I was ignored.

What made that especially noticeable is that this was not the first time I have had that experience with Angelina in this restaurant. On a previous visit, I also attempted to acknowledge or speak with her and was ignored. So, from my perspective, this was not an isolated interaction.

I don't want to speculate about her reasons or assign an intention that I cannot actually know. I can only describe what happened: I tried to speak to someone I knew, more than once and on more than one visit, and received no acknowledgment. I found that disappointing and uncomfortable.

I especially don't want that experience to overshadow the excellent service Keristen gave us, though. She was exceptional. She made the visit memorable for all the right reasons, and I sincerely hope management recognizes what an asset she is to the restaurant.

Keristen, if this ever makes its way back to you: thank you. We absolutely loved having you as our server, and you gave us one of the best experiences we have ever had at this Olive Garden.”

“We got 6 chili cheese dogs, 3 large fries, and a basket of chicken strips. My husband and I loved the chili cheese dogs and omg they are so filling! They were busy, but still very friendly! The fries are awesome. Easily one of my favorite restaurant's fries I've tried in Uniontown. Perfectly crispy but still soft inside. Money well spent! I added photos of the menu, they have a lot more than what is featured here!”
